Welcome back to Term 3! Can you believe that we’re already halfway through the school year? We started our new term with a song led by Ms Biggins and two of our ministers, Ava and Harrison. Teachers sat with their classes, on the green, to sing and dance along… can you spot them all?
We are looking forward to a BIG term ahead, with Education Week, Science Week and Book Week all coming up. Parents and carers are invited to attend our open classrooms morning on Monday 12 August… keep reading to find out more!

SOCCER JuniorsOn a lovely Winter day, the mighty Junior Balmain A’s took on a brave Nicholson St team. We won 9 to 0 - it was a tough game. Drew scored 3 out of the nine goals. Theo was the man of the match for brilliant defending. In the first week of Term 3, our Junior B team faced Birchgrove boys soccer team. Elise scored 1 goal but Birchgrove scored 2 goals. It was a very close game. Lucas was man of the match.
SeniorsThe Balmain A’s versed the Kegworth C’s and we won 10:0 with an amazing 7th goal by our keeper Oscar. Overall Charlie scored 3 goals and Lachlan R x2, Lachlan W x1, Oscar x1, Joe x1, Alexia x1 and Dylan x1Captain - Charlie H Player of the match - Charlie H
The Balmain B team faced off against Kegworth’s D team. Balmain played well, as did Kegworth, but the game favoured Balmain with an 11-0 win. Overall, Balmain did well and played exceptionally as a team. The man of the match was Lucius as he was very coordinated in passing and shooting, and was generally active.
