ABOUT AIESEC FTU HANOI
Founded in 2009, AIESEC FTU Hanoi is having 90+ members from 09
prestigious universities in Hanoi, and has organized many projects for
the youth, such as Global Leadership Activating Day, Global Citizen
Summer Camp, etc…

REACH VIETNAM
REACH is a local non-government and non-profit
organization which specializes in providing
vocational training, career advice and job
placement services for Vietnam’s most
disadvantaged youth.
Established in 2008, REACH was formerly known as
livelihood advancement business school (Labs).
REACH has been supported by PLAN in Vietnam
since 2004
ACHIEVEMENT
Over 8,250 disadvantaged young people trained since 2004
Over 80 % of our graduates had a stable job 6 months after their training
REACH graduates usually earn about USD $100 per month - more than twice what
they were earning before they enrolled at REACH
50% of REACH graduates get promoted or a salary increase in their first year
working

NGO PROJECT NGO project of AIESEC FTU HN is a project cooperated with an NGO. Our mission is to
provide non-profit organizations (NGOs) and social enterprises (SES) with a team of young,
proactive, energetic and potential international students to make impacts in the society by
joining community projects.
“Training courses for the disadvantaged” is a project in which AIESEC FTU HN
cooperates with an NGO- REACH Vietnam
REACH fills the gap between the high level of youth unemployment in Vietnam and
employers who need workers with skills, ready to work through training courses, mostly for
the disadvantaged.
During the courses, they train the disadvantaged young people for their jobs, and support
them for a further 6 months to make sure they can find and keep a job.
The goal is to ensure that 80% of students are in employment six months after graduating
from their course.
Joining the project, interns will be assigned to TEACHING DEPARTMENT of REACH

INTERN’S WORK INFORMATION
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job description 1: English teaching assistant Each intern will work closely with an English teacher from REACH before each lesson to assist and deliver the lesson together with the teachers. Also, interns play an important role in designing the interactive activities catering to each lesson.
Job description 2: Consultancy in course design Interns will assist REACH teachers in developing in course models on sales and marketing and/or in building a new course model on bartenders
Job description 5: Participation in AIESEC integration events like city tours, tea talk, cooking days, etc
Job description 6: Reporting and giving feedback Interns help AIESEC FTU Hanoi to report and feedback the whole experience working in REACH to form a basement for NPO team.

o Good level of English (required)
o Teaching skills
o Computer user skill:
o Interest in community volunteer work
o Sales and marketing or business administration backgrounds (preferred)
o Proactiveness and open-mindedness

Things you should try in Viet Nam
1. Pho – Rice Noodle Soup If you ask a Vietnamese about their most common traditional cuisine, most of the time it will be Pho.
Unlike the fried one, this one contains fresh green to give you the cool and fresh taste in your mouth that will make you remember it forever.
2. Banh Mi – Vietnamese Baguette
Vietnamese Baguette, once appeared as one of the most delicious street food in the world by The Guardian.
3. Nem Ran – Fried Spring Rolls The most common, the most liked, the combination of Vietnamese ingredients in a little roll.
