Do great things!

Many times I’ve found myself struggling with how I can perfectly manage my time with all the tasks given to me. Many times I’ve asked myself how can I keep things organized and always on track without sacrificing other important matters. There were moments when I see myself striving hard in completing errands so I can beat the deadlines and meet the expectations of people around expecting me to do well at work and be on top of every single assignment I am doing. Well, these are just questions, self-motivated questions from a Productivity Assistant who is projected to be efficient in rendering services to the members.

Being an assistant is never easy and being part of a world where businesses play a vital role in keeping oneself alive is a real deal. Each PA is portrayed as the right hand for members who are busy supervising their inboxes, updating their CRM and contacting executives for a potential deal. We are calculated to do administrative work with consistency to help members become more productive in handling their businesses.

As I go along in dealing with these managerial works such as scheduling, CRM, travel, expense management etc, it is still a question of how will I be able to nail each task within the expected time without setting aside the other. What tool shall I use so I could offer my members the best practices they deserve?

Good thing I met ASANA – a much talked Saas (Software as a service), a web application that allows me to list down the entire task I need to do every single day. It is designed to boost productivity of every employee by managing tasks through its features such as tags, notes, projects, personal tasks, workspaces and comments. This has been my partner when I started to schedule appointments for my members.

Do great things with ASANA- Through creating a project which comprises of tasks allow me to keep things on progress, as systemized as possible. Just by putting what type of task, picking the date on when to make a follow up, provide brief description and put special note especially when necessary really helps me get reminded on when and how to get things done for my members. The due date works well, enough to give me a bang that it is time to get a heads up in reaching out to members’ contacts and/or to give me a sign this is the day where I should submit the presentation I created for my members, spreadsheet that I am doing for the research process.

What makes it more effective? ASANA doesn’t put me in a table full of mess where pens, papers coupled with random thoughts are scattered everywhere. Asana cares by letting me look and move forward with another task. It gives me imperative to let go of a charge and meet a new one. By clicking the box on the left side task means I am done with one and now marking the task as complete. In this way, I can clearly see when one work is already finished. Now, I can go, move forward and ready to meet new ones.

ASANA is selfless. Since Prialto upholds the importance of working in a team, Asana’s another great feature is you can manage task and work with it collaboratively. Basically, projects and tasks can be done

by several persons. You heard it right! I can share all the projects and tasks I have for my members with my team, especially with my back up PAs. Instead of sending them bunch of emails, I can share it with them through Asana. Just by adding their emails under teams I’ve created, they can easily see and access all tasks that are listed down for the members. By doing this, we can effectively outline responsibilities. It allows me to designate owner for any task so everyone knows who is responsible. Because tasks are centralized, everyone gets a top-down impression on everything in the pipeline, giving us the ability to adjust on when tasks are needed. It is an app that is perfectly designed to increase communication within the team.

To wrap things up, Asana has in store so much for people who are worrying about task management. With its design and robust stuctures, it permits users to arrange tasks based on priority level, organize work flow without spreading task across emails and talking around what needs to get done. So far, ASANA really helps me to be more focus on my tasks for my members that lead me to delivering effective and efficient services. Yes, there is more from ASANA and I am looking forward to discovering them as I continue to walk as Prialto’s productivity assistant.
