HOW IT WORKS

An organic agent, therefore not chemical inorganic, is mixed with water and acts as a disinfectant during the internal air wash cycle. The air-cleaning action is very similar to how rain works: as a result, the dirty particles agglo-merate and fall together with the water into a tank. This air-washing cleanse is patented and it facilitates the formation of agglomerates of finer particulate in “clusters”, which are easily disposable during the drainage of the tank. The resulting water and disinfectant can be evacuated into the sewage system without contaminating the environment, as the organic additive is absolutely harmless to both the groundwaters and the environment. The AERIA system has many advantages over traditional filtering systems be-cause it makes it possible to add all the sanitizing water that guarantees the use of viruses and bacteria. Furthermore, the water filtering system (subject of international patent) installed on AERIA has undoubted advantages in terms of ease of maintenance and constancy of performance over time compa-red to HEPA filters, as it provides reduction of the particulate in the environment is not influenced from the degree of saturation, as instead happens for a me-chanical filter (a HEPA filter typically after 6 months of work loses 25% of its filte-ring capacity). The current product has been tested according to the coarse particulate matter represented by particles, dust, pollen and spores with a diameter greater than 10 µm (micron), on the so-called PM10 powders up to

the fine or thin detail of dimensions around 2.5 microns, or PM2.5.The AERIA system eliminates PM 2.5 fine particles, which are a vector for va-rious viruses and bacteria that can be associated with the respiratory system,

including enumerating the coronavirus family.

The innovative sanitizing detergent that it uses inside the product deals with the washing of the air, attacking and eliminating almost instantly the bacteria and viruses present in the air from the appliance. The detergent is extremely effective and lethal against various bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Salmo-nella enteritidis, Listeria monocytogenes, Campylobacter jejuni. The deter-gent is organic, biodegradable and some components can be obtained from the waste of the agri-food chain.
