Web 2.0 is the term used to describe websites that allow users to interact and collaborate in an online environment.

Unlike the earlier version Web 1.0, Web 2.0 provides a platform for users to retrieve,

edit and publish various work.

Go 2 Web 2.0 is a site that contains hundreds upon hundreds of Web 2.0 applications. The majority of the applications can be used for free, and upgraded if you

would like to utilize all the extra features. The site can be searched by subject or user needs,

and is extremely user friendly.

*Do not download any of the applications without teacher/parent approval.

You can Go Anywhere with Google Apps

Most Google Drive Applications are free and can be used from any location or device that provides you with internet access.

Using Google Apps is very similar to Microsoft Applications; such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Once you become comfortable with the layout and features of Google Drive Apps your creativity has no limits. There is never any worry about not saving work,

or not being able to open documents on your device.

Camp Web 2.0Now that you have seen some of the Web 2.0 Tools available come and join the fun at Camp Web 2.0. The

camp is a place where you can learn how to get the most from your devices, in a fun and technology safe environment.

Every meeting will be interactive and hands-on, so sign-up today!

Sign-Up Begins Wednesday December 12, 2012 and will continue until January 9, 2013.

Registration forms can be picked-up, and returned, at the library circulation desk.

We are only able to take 20 campers, so to secure your camp spot bring your completed form back ASAP.
