I am an enthusiastic Animator looking to work in an Agency that can benefit from my motion design abilities, and help me improve my skills.
As well as Animation, I have strong interests in Graphic Design, Illustration and Photography. I study these subjects in my spare time to broaden my knowledge and expand my portfolio work.
I love collaborating with other creatives and like-minded people on projects. To bounce ideas off others is something I thrive on, however I can work equally as well alone as in a group. I take each brief seriously, and with attention to detail I make sure to see it through to it’s conclusion.

Future Design ConsultantsAssistant Animator3rd - 28th of March 2014[Placement]I assisted Future by collaborating with two colleaues on two self-promotion films called ‘Cogent Placements’ and ‘RPAssure’. Dividing the work between us we create illustration vectors, placed them into after effects and animated the content. After some time, we would re-group and show each other what was produced and ask for feedback.
Freelance Animation & DesignAnimator & Designer9th July 2013 to date[Freelancer]After I graduated from university, I began freelancing. This has consisted of me making animation and design work for companies called Evergrad and Linked Training Solutions and Jimmy Egan’s Boxing Academy.
Noise FestivalAssistant19th March - 20th May 2013 [Placement]I answered phone calls and applied design and animation elements to Noise’s portfolio work. I also added watermarks to photography before publishing, put collate Noise artist‘s work into an animation for ‘Your Creative Future’ event and I moved exhibition pieces to and from Noises base and the Peoples History Museum.
Local CommunityPhotographerSeptember 2008 to date[Freelancer]I attend community events that are local to me, where I am asked to take professional photographs. I then enhance them, applying watermarks and revisions.The events I have attened so far are dance competitions, prom, school plays and boxing bout shows.

Third year and final college work, I wanted to make anadvert for a company that incorporated a ‘fairy tale’.I choose to make mine about Little Red Riding Hood shopping at Sainsbury’s.

This is another animation project I helped work on while on a four week placement at Future Design Consultants.Collaborating with two animators, we had to create an animation that explained what the company ‘RP Assure’ was about to potential customers.

Second year college work, I made a channel ident for the YCN Lego brief competiton. I wanted to go back to the fudamentals of Lego: Building.So I decided to make some Lego bricks spell out the word Lego in a stop motion animation.

Art of Protest:Animation|Film I made this film whilst on a two month placement at NOISE Festival.I was asked to make a video of NOISE artist’s work that won second place in show for the exhibition ‘The Art of Protest’.

These are some illustrations I did for a person called Dawn Guest. She gave a brief to freelancers at a networking event asking for character designs of spoons in various job/hobby roles.

I based this brief on a pretend florist business called ‘Flora’s Flowers’.The idea was to create a corporate brand that could be applied to print and film products for self promotion purposes.

For this project, I wanted to create a logo design for an imaginary hair & beauty salon called Markel.
I tried to simultaneously incorporate the salons three key elements in the design: Hair, Manicures and Massages.

In 2012, Mike Ness from the American punk rock band Social Distortion visited Jimmy Egan’s Boxing Academy whilst on tour.He wanted the learn the gym’s boxing techniques from brothers Shaun and Steve Egan.
