Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Today, we read that Jesus sends out
the Twelve, two by two, to preach. Up until now they had accompanied the Master through Galilee, but the time had come for them to start spreading the Gospel, the Good News: the news that God, Our Father, loves us with an endless love and that he has brought us into existence so as He could make us eternally happy. This news is for every-body. Nobody is left outside of these liberating teachings of Jesus. Nobody is excluded from the Love of God. It has to reach every corner of the Earth. The joy of full and universal salvation, through Jesus Christ, the Son of God made man for our sake, who died and
was resurrected and is actively present in the Church, has to be announced to the world. Nowadays, the Good News still hasn't reached all corners yet, nor with the necessary intensity. Conversion has to be preached; there are many evil spirits to be defeated. Do those of us who have received the Good News appreciate its value? Are we aware of it? Are we grateful for it? Do we feel like missionaries, sent out to preach with example and, if necessary with words, so that nobody who comes our way in this life be denied the Good News. My friends, we are looking for some catechists, extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion, Lec-tors to enrich the community with the talents that God has given each of us. We are also getting ready for the Parish Festival on August 4th from 11 am to 7 pm at the parish grounds. Please invite family and friends to join us and celebrate with Saint Anthony the festival, we will have variety of food, entertain-ments and live music and cultural dances apart from the raffles with lots of prizes.

SUNDAY : FIFTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME JULY 15, 2018
Queridos Hermanos y Hermanas:
Hoy leemos en el Evangelio que Jesús envía a los Doce, de dos en dos, a predi-car. Hasta ahora han acompañado al Maestro por los caminos de Galilea, pero ha llegado la hora de comenzar la difu-sión del Evangelio, la Buena Nueva: la noticia de que nuestro Padre Dios nos ama con un amor infinito y que nos ha traído a la vida para hacernos felices por
toda la eternidad. Esta noticia es para todos. Nadie ha de quedar al margen de la enseñanza liberadora de Jesús. Nadie queda excluido del Amor de Dios. Es ne-cesario llegar hasta el último rincón del mundo. Hay que anunciar el gozo de la
salvación plena y universal, por medio de Jesucristo, el Hijo de Dios hecho hombre por nosotros, muerto y resucitado y pre-sente activamente en la Iglesia. Hoy en día, la Buena Noticia no ha llega-do todavía a todas partes, ni con la inten-sidad que era necesaria. Se ha de predi-car la conversión, hay que vencer a mu-chos espíritus malignos. Quienes hemos recibido la Buena Noticia, ¿lo sabemos valorar? ¿Somos conscientes de ello? ¿Estamos agradecidos? Sintámo-nos enviados, misioneros, urgidos a pre-dicar con el ejemplo y, si fuera necesario, con la palabra para que la Buena Nueva no falte a quienes Dios ha puesto en nuestro camino. Amigos míos, estamos buscando algunos catequistas, Ministros ex-traordinarios de la comunión, lecto-res para enriquecer a la comunidad con los talentos que Dios nos ha da-do a cada uno de nosotros. También nos estamos preparándonos para el Festival parroquial el 4 de agosto de 11 AM a 7 PM en los terrenos de la parroquia. Por favor invite a familia-res y amigos a unirse a nosotros y celebrar con San Antonio el Festival, tendremos variedad de comida, en-tretenimientos y música en vivo y bailes culturales aparte de los sorte-os con un montón de premios.
