MASS CARDS AND SPIRITUAL BOUQUETS Parishioners are welcome to come to the office to request a Mass Card or a Spiritual Bouquet. The Mass Card is a remembrance by which we offer an announced Mass for the repose of the soul of the de-ceased person or for the intentions of the living. The Spiritual Bouquet is an enrollments in which we re-member the person enrolled at Mass offered every week for both living and deceased.

No one should feel alone in their struggle with any physical or emotional illness. Sharing each other’s stories can be liberating and welcome break in the silence that often surrounds emotional illness. This is the place to speak out and be heard in a safe confidential, and non-judgmental environment, where isolation and stigma dissipate as supportive community is created.

CATHOLIC NIGHT - FENWAY PARK On June 24th at 7pm, the Cathedral Choir and Archdioce-san Festival and Youth Choir will sing the National An-them at Fenway Park under the direction of Cathedral and Archdiocesan Music Director, Richard Clark. Prior to the first pitch, there will be a special pre-game ceremony honoring the important work of the Catholic Appeal. You can buy tickets at Redsox.com/catholicnight.
IN THE SHADOW OF YOUR WINGS: A MUSICAL EXPLORATION OF THE PSALMS The Cathedral’s own Richard Clark and Fr. Pablo Gomis will be part of this ecumenical. Friday, June 28, 2019, 7 pm Old South Church in Boston - Free Admission but registration is requested. To register or find out more in-formation, go to https://www.deus-ex-musica.com/composers. Part concert, part “musical Bible study”, this ecumenical event will feature brand-new compo-sitions based on three famous psalms (13, 57, and 148), set to music independently by a diverse group of composers hailing from different Christian traditions. The performances will be followed by an informal time of fellowship and discussion, led by an ecumeni-cal group of clergy and teachers.

Francis Bardot directed the Children’s Choirs of the Paris Opera for twenty-three years. He also served for ten years as the Choirmaster of the Cathedral of Chartres. SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 15TH | 3PM Leo Abbott, Director Emeritus will rededicate the organ
in concert. This concert will also celebrate the Titular
Feast of the Cathedral, The Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
RETURN OF THE PIPE ORGAN! Many have asked when we will hear the Cathedral’s
beautiful historic E. & G. G. Hook & Hastings pipe or-
gan. Built in 1875 it is rare to have such a gem still tonal-
ly intact. During the renovation, the entire instrument was
covered and protected from construction dust. About half
of its 5,318 pipes were removed and stored off-site. These
are now in the process of being reinstalled. Some me-
chanical adjustments are being made in the mean time.
All the pipes will be re-tuned and regulated in coming
weeks. Hopefully, this magnificent instrument will be
playing July.
