HOLIDAY DINNER DANCE
The annual Cypress Head Holiday dinner dance will be held at the beautiful (and somewhat elegant) Halifax River Yacht Club on Friday, December 11
th. This is the
premier social event of the year for Cypress Head residents and guests and is a really neat way to start the holiday season with your neighbors and friends. Following are the details and the registration form for this “not-to-be-missed” event:
6:00 pm - Social hour featuring passed hors d’oeuvres. Please note: Credit cards are not accepted at the bar – cash only.
7:00 pm - Dinner featuring Chicken Marsala, Broiled Basa fillet, or Pan-Seared Sirloin Steak. All dinners include a dinner salad, bread, appropriate accompaniments, dessert and beverage.
6:00 pm -10:00 pm – Music by Joe Fister (same as 2014) for your listening and dancing enjoyment.
Tickets are $38.00 per person (only $2.50 increase from last year) and will be on sale
at the HOA clubhouse from 10:00 am until noon on November 11th. Please fill out
the registration form and bring it with you when you purchase your tickets. If you wish
to be seated with “your group”, please have one person collect the registration forms
and checks from “your group” and bring them to the clubhouse on Nov. 11th. (please
use additional forms if registering more than 4 people). Tables are set for either eight
persons per table or ten persons per table. We will do everything possible to keep
groups together but, there is no guarantee. If you need to make a “late reservation”,
call Bob Carter at 763-4596 or Tony Delmonte at 760-1719. Seating is limited and
tickets will be sold on a “first come, first served” basis. Checks should be made out to
Bob Carter. Advanced ticket purchases/table reservations will not be available this year.

Final CC&R’s Imploring that You Vote!!! The CC&R Committee has edited the CC&R’S, accordingly, from the many suggestions made at the Town Hall Meeting held September 22. The final copy will be sent to the printer and all residents of Cypress Head will soon receive in the mail a clean copy of the CC&R’S without strikeouts, a voting certificate, and ballot for voting, as well as a return envelope. Dates for voting and where to send the voting certificate and ballot will be included in the mailing. The purpose of these revisions is NOT to change the content, intent or rationale of the CC&R’S. Rather, the intent was to clarify, or delete immaterial or unimportant narratives that are unrelated, and sometimes confusing, to the current and future Cypress Head Planned Unit Development residents. The CC&R Committee asks all residents to review again the final document for consideration of your vote. Many months and hours have been spent on making revisions to help better the process of governance of our premier community here in Volusia County. We need every homeowner to take the time to be part of this process and cast your vote in the best interest of this fine community. We need 66⅔ yes votes from the entire Cypress Head Community to allow these revisions to become a reality. VOTE-YES
