By Sharon Allen, Cafeteria Aide.

Hello everyone, Summertime is approaching again. I am getting ready for summer in the kitchen. I will be going to my summer training class from Foodlink on June 12. Foodlink will also begin classes at Dazzle for

the the Individuals. I will be trying to set up classes on nutrition, so the kids can be busy. I will have more updates in future issues. Have a great and safe summer everyone.

Word from the EditorIt is may, and summer will be here as some of you read this. Dazzle often has different operating hours as the various needs of summer change, and this year is

no exception. As I work on this edition of the dazzling times, events are happening so fast I may not be sure if even I can keep up. But we will do our best to keep you informed. We always try to focus on the positive here at Dazzle, even when things get stressful. It is important to look for the good in people and situations wherever you can. I hope going forward that whatever Challenges arise, there will always be a way where there seeming was no way.

Dazzle is getting ready for our annual Golf challenge, and one positive thing you can do is to tell your friends and neighbors. Perhaps you play Golf yourself, but if not, you may know someone who does. Spread the word, and come out anyway for a fun time with friends of Your

Children!

Community ConnectionsThese are some of the Community partners that help keep Dazzle a

pleasant place for your Individuals to be.

a bit of work for Dazzle in these last months. They are located at 11 Comfort Street and can be found on the internet at http://www.ryanplumbingheating.com . Dazzle thanks Ryan for making Dazzle safer and more comfortable .

Wegman'sWegman's has been partnering with Dazzle since earlier this year. As you may know

from Earlier Issues of the Dazzling Times, they were one of the groups who helped pay

for our new playground across the street from our 110/112Webster Ave Dazzle

Campus Buildings. They also provided the Lunch served to the volunteers that day

and, as seen in a previous Issue, provided Dazzle with a painted Golf Ball sculpture

from the PGA Tourney, a piece of art which now decorates our reception area at 110

Webster Ave. As we go into the future, we expect more interactions with this great

company. If you ever visit the East Avenue Wegman's Store, be sure to look for our

individuals on one of the posters near the front door. More information can be found

at http://www.wegmans.com.

Panera Bread CompanyEach Tuesday, through the co-operation of

Mrs. J. Wolfley, A Dazzle parent, Dazzle has been receiving donation of Breads, Bagels, cookies, and other related baked goods. We

have been sending these home with our students and are looking for other avenues as we seek to help others in need as we

have been helped. We thank Panera for it's generosity. If you know of someone who needs help and a way we can help them,

please call Anne at the school at (585) 288-0050.

The Design Center of Rochester is helping us renovate our new Building, which will then accommodate classroom space, while our current classrooms will then become administrative space. The “Dazzlevile” Campus and Schubert Center will need to expand in order to meet the growing needs of our community, and the Design Center is helping that to happen.
