Monday & Thursday: 4:30-5:15pm Saturday: 4:00-5:00pm and by appointment
Dear Parishioners,
Happy Superbowl Sunday! Whether you are rooting for the Rams or the Patriots, we welcome everyone here!
The Hollywood themed big Winter Dinner Dance is almost sold out! It takes place this Saturday at 6 PM in the Grade School Auditorium! Our WDD committee under the leadership of Tony and Lina Camcam has been working hard to provide a great opportunity for fun and fellowship. Music is provided by Michael Angelo (a DJ).
We had our Grade School Open House this past Tuesday night. It was fantastic. Applications are being accepted, but please note that some grades are full. Our grade school has received the Best Private School in Glendale award the past three years and there is a reason for these rewards: strong Catholic identity, quality of instruction, amazing kids, dedicated faculty, modern and clean and healthy facilities, generous program offerings and a safe environment. Come check us out!
Our High School is still accepting applications, and it appears that it will be a banner year with a growth in enrollment in our beautiful school. Approximately $3 million was poured into our high school to upgrade the premises, and it looks fantastic. The science labs are college level. Our head of school, Dr. Joe Reiken, continues to amaze folks with his dynamic leadership. Don’t be bashful and consider enrolling your high school age daughter in our high school.
Please mark the date: Keep on Rollin’ 2019 takes place on Saturday, June 8th at 6 PM at the Grade School Auditorium and yard. There is only one honoree this year and the Pastoral Council selected me! I am honored to be honored! We are going to have top notch sound and we will make this event different from prior years.
Have you checked out our parish website? How about the Grade School website? How about the high school website? Come check us out online and see the great things happening at Holy Family.
I just finished a book on the life of St. Vincent Ferrer entitled St. Vincent Ferrer, The Angel of Judgment. He was a Dominican priest who died in 1419. What an inspiration! To use a baseball metaphor, he is in the major leagues. I am just beginning T-ball. He was a man of prayer, a mystic and miracle worker. He evangelized by the thousands. Thank you for your prayers for your priests.
Winter blessings your way, Fr. Jim Bevacqua, Pastor 818-247-2222 x225, [email protected]

Copyright © J. S. Paluch Co.
