Save the DateA Gift For Gail Fundraiser

On August 12th, 2011, Gail Carnithan of Canaryville was diagnosed with abenign brain tumor that resulted in surgery and was followed by radiation. Herprognosis was good. Later, after a routine CAT scan she was then diagnosed withHodgkins Lymphoma in her upper chest. 2012 held many treatments of chemo-ther-apy and radiation, which we believe was successful.

However, things took a bad turn regarding her brain surgery in 2011. Gail onceagain underwent surgery on Dec. 6th, 2012 for Hydrocephalus where a shunt wasput in place to remove fluid from her brain. Her immune system had been so com-promised from the all the chemo and radiation that she developed many other con-ditions such as shingles, pneumonia and a life-threatening lung infection that placedher back in the hospital under a medically induced coma for months.

Gail now needs to undergo a long-term rehab program. As you can see, it hasbeen one battle after another for her. It has certainly been a very difficult journeyfor her to say the least! Just when Gail thinks she is “all good” and “in the clear”,she gets hit with something new.

You can imagine all the medical expenses she endures. Gail’s supporters have puttogether an organization to help her bear all of her current financial burdens and forones she may face in the future.

Gail's family and friends and supporters have put together a friendship party toraise money to help ease her financial burdens. If you can, please come on out andsupport our cause to help Gail.

Join us on Saturday, June 15th, 2013 at The Canaryville Club, 458 West 45thStreet, Chicago, IL. 60609 from 2PM to 7PM. $20.00 entrance fee per person inadvance and $25.00 per person at the door. There will be a 32” TV door prize...Food...Tap Beer...Music (DJ)...lots of Raffles and 50/50’s.
