Designed with for an open concept use of space, the FUSE community centre embodies the concept of ‘Conversation’ with its features. Combining the notion of playfulness in Czech culture with simple lines comes a space that is both useful and practical. Upon entrance, a dramatic set of red stairs connects the multipurpose rooms available upstairs to the main conversation downstairs. The ground floor lobby becomes a gathering place while surrounded by all the key features of the centre: the office, bar and the open-air auditorium. While providing ample seating for multi-purposes, the auditorium acts as the key idea, with its activities bustling throughout the centre, it ties the entire space into one solid, open conversation.
