Well folks, here it is November. Thanksgiving is just around the corner and then comes Christmas and the New Year, 2019!

If you are not aware, we have paid off our Mortgage. We had a party last month on the 20th to celebrate the occasion. I’m sorry I couldn’t make it, however I wanted to thank each and every member who participates and supports our Lodge. Without all of you we could have never done it. Also you may want to reflect on all the people who were here with us all these past years who worked consistently so hard to achieve these goals. God Bless Their Souls.

Continue to look into our Calendar Page to keep up with upcoming events to see what’s happening and what’s cooking.

The Calendar Meeting is on the 3rd Wednesday of each MonthARTICLES ARE DUE ON THAT DAY

I have been a member of Lemon Grove for 40 years and editor of the newsletter for over ten years. I have noticed over the years the “volunteer situation” is seriously declining. This month there are two breakfasts meals with no cooks. The folks that do volunteer are the same ones every month. I’m sure they’re getting burnt out.

Positions that are open: Bartenders, Cooks, Helpers with special events, clean up crews, dishwashers, gardeners, etc. The Officers, both LOOM and WOTM, are all volunteers. Do you have a clue how much time THEY volunteer? Every month they ask for help and every month the same people volunteer (with a little arm twisting).

Volunteer once a month to cook a meal, clean the patio, tend bar, or just say “How can I help?” Just a few hours a month from everyone, that is able, would help beyond belief.

Thank you so much for your anticipated cooperation.Very Sincerely. Barbara

From Our Senior Regent

Co-Workers,

Can you believe it’s November already!! I want to thank everyone who volunteered and showed up to support our Christmas in October Dinner. It was a huge success! I also wan to welcome the ladies from Chapter 2, as they have officially merged with our Chapter 2267. We are excited and happy for you to join us.

Join us Tuesday, November 6th at 7pm as we honor our co-workers at our College of Regents Ceremony. Please come dressed in business casual or in your regalia if you are a Collegiate. Potluck will follow the ceremony.

Friday, November 9th is our Higher Degree dinner and we will have Homemade Lasagna with Antipasto Salad, Garlic Bread and Jell-o Cake for dessert by Sandra Wright.

Kids Craft Day will be held on Wednesday, November 14 at 6pm. Bring the kids down and enjoy their creativity.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving and be safe.

Fraternally, Toni Perez. Sr. Regnet
