1. Application All industries Construction with or without cushioning Dimensions in agreement with:

NFPA specifications ANSI/B93.15 – 1981 Bore Sizes – 1 ½’’ through 8’’

2. Pressure Nominal Pressure: 3000 PSI 3. Cushioning The incorporated cushionings have a floating cushioning ring with automatic refeeding. An adjustment is foreseen at the both sides of the cylinder. Please call us in case of absorption of large cinetic energy (high speed, large mass in movement). 4. Fluid Standard Fluid – Mineral oil 5. Working Temperatures -10° F to + 165° F 6. Velocity Maxi : 19’’ per second

7. Design: Piston Rod: Medium carbon steel, ground, polished after coating allowing a long duration of packings. Cylinder Body: Steel honed 8. Protection Body cylinder: Primer external coating. Piston Rod:

Coating hard-chromed 0.8 inch. For a very harsh environmental conditions, we recommend to use the KERADOUCETM coating.

9. Brace ring For long stroke, it is necessary to equip the cylinder with a brace ring. Its length must be added to the overall dimension of the cylinder. 10. Swivels type The standard swivels are of type GE… DO from INA Elges or GE…ES from SKF or equivalent suppliers. Other types are available on demand.

11. Packing Cylinders are delivered with all ports plugged. The threaded pieces are protected by peelable varnish. 12. Operating The hydraulic circuits must be tight and bleeded. The presence of air in the circuit may cause seals’ destruction. A bleed device at the front and rear parts will equip each cylinder. The used fluid and the circuit must be totally clean. Before connection, all piping and connecting pipes must be cleaned and washed or carefully cleaned.

13. Installation

The mechanic installation and the hydraulic follow up system circuit have not to cause impacts, vibrations, transverse loads, bending effort. Otherwise, please contact us.

14. Stocking

The cylinders must be stocked under heated-up shelter with normal temperature conditions and hygrometry. On demand, in case of prolonged stocking (more than 3 months), the cylinders can be supplied with oil.

15. Marking

The whole hydraulic cylinders will have an identification label to be given for spares

- Rod tightness with

compound-seal, double lip wiper, and guiding through bearers.

- This type of seals is

particularly recommended for applications with very low friction as well as very low or very high speed.

- Regulation.

Tightness - Code DC - Piston tightness with 2

lipseals – Opposed polyurethan and guiding through bearers.

- Rod tightness with V packing

or lipseal polyurethan, double lip wiper, and guiding through bearers.

- This type of seals is

particularly recommended for hard working conditions, industry, rolling mill, steel industry, presses, naval and fluvial industry.
