In This Session
• Overview Of Levels• The Foundational Curriculum• The TruthBooks
– What’s In Them?– How Can I Use Them?
Overview Of LevelsFour Levels • Each of the 4 Levels Last Two Curriculum Years. (Discoverers may
last up to 3 curriculum years.)• Each level covers the same twelve Doctrinal Themes and 120
Questions. (The answers and TruthBook content grows and deepens with each level of learning.)
• The Level names reflect the goals & expectations for that age group.
• All Level ages/grades are recommendations, and may be adjusted per your setting. (Ages/grades are not printed on materials children receive.)
• Length of the “curriculum year” is flexible for the needs of each ministry. (A “curriculum year” is the amount of time spent in one TruthBook.)– Each TruthBook is designed to last one “curriculum year”. – Six Doctrinal Themes are covered in each TruthBook and every
“curriculum year” (levels 2-4). (Level 1 covers all twelve Doctrinal Themes.)
– Churches may flex the program by slowing down the curriculum in order to cover one TruthBook every 18-24 months. (This is helpful to those memorizing or covering just one question [unit] per week.)
• Curriculum is used in a variety of settings including but not limited to Children’s Club, Sunday School, Children’s Church, multiple services, and Vacation Bible School.

The Foundational CurriculumGoal Of Curriculum
• If 4-year-olds begin with the Kids 4 Truth curriculum, by the time that they graduate from the 6th grade, they will know with some measure of understanding 120 essential questions and answers of authentic Christian teachings, and will be able to provide supporting Bible verses.
The Foundational CurriculumTwelve Doctrinal Themes
Each one of the Twelve Doctrinal Themes contains ten foundational questions and answers. We refer to these as the “Top Ten.” The Top Ten comprise the 120 Foundational Questions and Answers.
NOTE: The Twelve Doctrinal Themes are color coded:Themes 1-3 = GOLD; 4-6 = GREEN; 7-9 = RED; 10-12 = BLUE
The Foundational CurriculumParallels Document
• The Parallels document outlines the 12 Doctrinal Themes and the core 120 questions with the answers for each level.
• This document is great for review gaming or showing pastors and parents how the levels work together.
• Note: Bible verses for level 1 are shown on the last page for each Doctrinal Theme.
The Foundational CurriculumDevelopment Throughout The Levels
Notice how:
• The question is the same, but the answer grows and deepens for each level.
• The answer for the lower levels is contained within the answer for the upper levels.
The Foundational CurriculumSummary• Every 2 curriculum years (6 themes are
covered every curriculum year) the boys and girls will learn answers to the same 120 questions primarily by memorizing the answers.
• A few questions change over the years, but by and large they stay the same.
• The answers, however, are developed deeper and deeper for every progressing level.
• We systematically build upon the knowledge children have learned in previous levels!
