• Agree on partners representing the overall inbound SC and to be ready in time

IoT approach

• Visibility starts at the moment sensor is married with shipment label (Master VDA) at supplier and will end when the shipments arrived in Tamm warehouse for the start

• Automatic scanning / simplified inbound process / less paperwork

• Track on Skit level and no longer on truck level

• Less admin work in case of deviations

• From BLACK to WHITE:

- Storage cost / cost for penalties reduced

• handling unit A from Supplier to KN WHS will be splitted out of the KN Whs in multiple HUs. UI needed to be agreed to track E2E

• No barcodes were on the label from supplier to scan

• KN WHS handling process change needed

• Tracking on Handling-unit instead of truck load

• Automated real-time tracking instead of manual xls sheet tracking by several business partner involved

• Sensor a neutral 3rd party

• First evaluations during pilots have resulted into deviations of timings reported in xls vs real time

• Better accurate data availability leads to better workload planning and optimized costs
