    Personal Pronouns Adjectives

    The adjectives are used commonly to describe a noun or for distinguish a noun in a

    group of similar objects. In Spanish some adjectives can modify the form whenthey are applied to a noun masculine or feminine.

    Yo soy alto. Iamtall.T eres alto. Youaretall.(Informalorfamiliar)Usted es alto/a. Youaretall.(Formalmasculine/feminine)l es alto. Heistall.Ella es alta. Sheistall.Nosotros somos altos. Wearetall.Ustedes son altos. Youallaretall.(plural)

    The adjectives that end in o usually are masculine and the adjectives that end in ausually are feminine. There are exceptions to these two rules and you will soon belearning them.

    Adjectives (Singular and plural)

    In some cases the adjectives also can change the form depending if the word that the

    modify is singular or plural.

    El libro es amarillo. Thebookisyellow.Los libros son amarillos. Thebooksareyellow.La casa es amarilla. Thehouseisyellow.Las casas son amarillas. Thehousesareyellow.

    El carro es rojo. Thecarisred.Los carros son rojos. Thecarsarered.La silla es roja. Thechairisred.

    Las sillas son rojas.Thechairsarered.

    Roberto es abogado. Robertoisalawyer.Carlos y Miguel son abogados. CarlosandMiguelarelawyers.Mara es abogada. Mariaisalawyer.Karla y Mara son abogadas. KarlaandMariaarelawyers.

    Some adjectives end in e like fuerte o caliente (strong or hot) dont have gender,they only have singular and plural.
