1st Day
The first day we got medaka egg we named it Jamaal.
When we looked at Jamaal in the microscope, we saw little black dots all through the egg.
We figured out that the stage our egg was Stage 2.

On day 2, we saw Jamaal’s heart was beating 66 beats per minute.
He was at stage 24.
2nd Day Cont.
3rd Day
On day 3, Jamaal heartbeat was 116 beats per minute.
We also had pink blood flow.
He was at stage 28.
3rd Day Cont.
4th Day
Jamaal is starting to form into a tadpole.
His heart was beating 136 beats per minute at this time.
He was at stage 29.

5th Day
Jamaal heart was beating 138 beats per minute on this day.
He was now showing that he is at stage 30.
5th Day Cont.
6th Day
Jamaal is getting close to hatch.
His heart beat was 127 beats per minute.
He was at stage 31.
6th Day Cont.
7th Day
Jamaal is really close to hatching.
His heart is beating 130 beats per minute.
He was now at stage 33.
7th Day Cont.
8th Day
Jamaal has finally hatched.
Now we will watch Jamaal be released in a water container with other MedakaFish.
