I f there is a short attendance below 75% and hence student is not

permitted to attend the examination then necessarily he has to continue one


more term. For the shortfall in attendance the student is responsible. During the

said term he attends the theory and practical classes. For such extra classes the

college can charge fee for one term. (i.e. half of one year course). Such a

student is required to attend only one term for appearing for the examination

and hence the college can not charge for the entire year

All the above colleges approached our office on 1st October 2012 for

submitting the proposals along with DraftICheque of Rs. 50,000/- for penalty.

But the office did not accept those proposals since the last date for subniission

was 30th September 2012. Unfortunately, 29th and 30th September 2012 were

both holidays and office was closed. Perhaps due to this the colleges failed to

submit the proposals within the stipulated period. Considering this and the

earnestness with which the proposals are sought to be submitted office to accept

the same with penalty.

The next meeting of the Shikshan Shulka Samiti (Medical Education)

would be held on Wednesday the 7th November 2012 at 11.00 a.m. in the

Meeting Hall, Office of the Samiti at 305, Government Polytechnic Building, 49,

Kherwadi, Ali Yawar Jung Marg, Bandra (E) Mumbai 400 051. /'
