WE GET LETTERS Ben Vertz graduated from NSU in 2012 with a degree in Business Administra-

tion and Management. He had two minors—Finance and Sport Administration. He

did an internship with the Florida Panthers, played on the NSU Men’s Golf Team

and was on the dean list all four years! He now works for the Professional Golf As-

sociation as a Manager for Business Development. Congratulations Ben!

Good morning Professor Olson!

I hope you have been well!! I wanted to share with you some exciting news about my current career with Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation. I have been offered the position, and responsibility, of being the Director of the Summer Teen Camp for Palm Beach County at the West Boynton Recreation Center.

This summer will now be a lot more interesting as I am reaching the conclusion of Gradu-ate School at Florida Atlantic University. I will be graduating after the Summer Term with my MBA at FAU.

I could not be happier about this transition because it gives me a chance to promote youth activities while actively engaging with the community.

Furthermore, If anyone attached to the newsletter is interested, the County is still hiring some seasonal positions for the Summer Camp. I have attached the job descriptions and application directions. Thanks again for all of your guidance and your mentorship while I was at Nova Southeastern University. Please send my best regards to Dr. Finley and Dr. Fountain.

Feel free to have anyone who is truly interested reach out to me at [email protected] so I can ensure their resume is screened.

Sincerely, Cory Cody (See the next 2 pages for the openings and ask Professor Olson for

the full job descriptions.
