Observing The Indicators SRV indicator on all boards: indicates status of services
Red color: critical or major alarm Yellow color: minor or remote alarm Green color: no alarm Off: no service configured or power off
STAT indicator on all boards: indicates status of the boards

Testing The Orderwire Phone Making a call to other site.
The dial tone should be clear after pick up the phone.
The ringing tone should be clear after dial the number.
If remote site answered the call, the voice should be clear without noise.

Cleaning the Air Filter It is recommend to clean
the air filter once every two months.
Cleaning the air filter is necessary only for the IDU 620 that is configured with fans.

Replacing an ODU ODU power off. Disconnect cable. Uninstall ODU. Install the new ODU.
New ODU consistent with the previous one. Polarity.
Connect back the cables. Carry out the waterproof measures for the IF interface of
the ODU. Turn on the ODU-PWR switch on the panel of the IF board. Check status of new ODU by Web LCT.

Plugging Out a Board
Step 1: Loosen the screws on the front panel.
Step 2: Unlock the ejector levers of the board so that the board is disconnected from the backplane.
Step 3: Draw out the board along the guiding rail.

Plugging In a Board
Step 1: Slowly inserting the board along the guiding rail.
Step 2: Lock the ejector levers of the board.
Step 3: Fasten the screws on the front panel.

Replacing an IF Board Active/standby board switch or SNCP switch. ODU power off and IF cable disconnect. Replace the new IF board and connect IF cable. Observe the indicators. Turn on ODU power. Restore active/standby board or SNCP service. Monitor status of the new IF board.

Replacing an SCC Board Remove the SCC board and
make sure the spare SCC board is consistent with it.
Replace the removable memory card on spare SCC.
Install the spare board. Monitor the indicators, and
check the status of the running SCC board by Web LCT.
