The Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth will be hosting a Discernment Weekend for women 18+ May 5-7. Spend a weekend at the convent. This will be an opportunity to enter into guided prayer experienc-es about who God made you to be, while also having fun and praying with the Sisters. COME & SEE DAYS RELAX…It’s just one day at the convent. Whether you know a lot about Sisters or you don’t, we invite high school aged girls to come and spend a day with the Sisters and learn a little bit about our life and our love of Jesus. Monthly Mass for Catholics in Recovery – May 13th This month’s Calix Mass will be offered at 8:30 am on May 11th in the St. Jude Parish in the main Church (1515 N Greenville Ave, Allen). The Mass, and meeting that follows, is open to mem-bers of all parishes who are recovering alcoholics, addicts, and their families and friends. Calix meetings provide for shar-ing our experience, strength and hope found in Catholicism and 12-Step recovery. This Calix unit serves the Dallas Diocese and holds its meetings on the second Saturday of every month at 8:30 AM in the St.

The Serra Club meets the third Monday of each month to pray for and support vocations in the Dallas Diocese, as well as our current Priests, Seminarians, Religious and those in Consecrated Life. BAPTISMS English Baptisms are the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Saturday of the month at 6:00p.m. Please contact the parish office to schedule the baptism. The parents and sponsors must take a baptismal preparation class. Baptismal preparation classes are offered the 3rd Saturday of each month at10:00 a.m. in the old white church in english. Please call the parish office to register. Baptismal preparation for children ages 7 to 14 is handled in the Faith Formation Program.
