Program/ Social Media Campaign Scenario/ Mission: “Fine Arts for the Future” is a project of the All-Stars Project developed to encourage young people to express their creativity through visual arts such as painting, drawing, graphic design, animation and sculpting. What is Instagram?

Instagram has an interesting standing in the social media realm today at just over three years old it is still in its infancy compared to Twitter and Facebook but very mature compared to other startups. Compared to other social media sharing platforms, Instagram seems to be on top of the world; however businesses have no idea how to implement it strategically.

SWOT Analysis

Strengths: Generate more traffic to social media outlets for more access information about current events and programs at All- Stars Project. Exposing young people to the culture and history of visual arts and inspire future artists and painters. Weaknesses: Instagram is only available for smartphones (iphones and android users) and limits accessibility

Opportunity:

Threats: Copyright ownership policy can have a significant impact on business marketing because photos can be reposted without the consent of the owner or business.

Strategies Create an Instagram page for the All-Star Project and associated programs to share important news and event information as well as encourage participants, parents, and partners engagement in the All-Star Project community. 1. Use of Hashtag- Hashtags on Instagram serve a specific purpose to group together photos and videos that have commonalities or share a meaning. Businesses can use hashtags when posting photos and videos so that when that particular hashtag is clicked, it displays all related content. 2. Audience Engagement- The key to a successful social media presence is online engagement and communication. Customers are able to like and/or comment on photos and videos they find interesting, allowing consumer feedback. 3. Location Tags- Businesses have the ability to tag their location when posting. This is a good way for other users to be introduced to their business and location.

Instagram makes it easy to discover new photos, new people and new businesses.BENEFITCAL FEATURES OF INSTAGRAM #HASHTAGS create a direct link to all content shared using that hashtag.

Content on Instagram can also be used in potential marketing campaigns. TAGGING LOCATIONS inform customersof the businesss location and allows the business to see other users sharing photos and discussing their organization via social media.
