The decreasing engagement rates on the Bata page with a mundane approach was the biggest challenge faced. Average creative designs and lack of a defined content strategy had impacted the user interactivity on the page in a major way.

To engage the user base on the present Bata India Facebook fan page, utilising the patriotic fervour for Bata as India’s first brand was an ideal way.

SOLUTION

Bata has been in each step that India has taken from the days of its independence struggle till now.

#BataAndYou was a celebration of this long journey together.

A bit of Bata India’s history was shared with the users to elaborate on the long lasting relationship between Indians and Bata.

Fans had to share what makes Bata India’s favourite and foremost brand through their comments. The best answer and the most inspiring comment was awarded.

The contest was a 3-day affair with two variations in gratification. Bata vouchers were given as gratification.
