The DEFCON system was developed by the Joint Chiefs of Staff and unified and specified combatant commands. It prescribes five graduated levels of readiness for the U.S. military, and increase in severity from DEFCON 5, the least severe to DEFCON 1111, the most severe to match varying military situations. If one were to apply this knowledge to the imminent return of Jesus, he might say that we’re at DEFCON 1111. Over the past few months, the Spirit has warranted my attention to France. Bewildered I hadn’t the slightest idea of what He was referring to as He seized my eyes to France, or anything French, like Paris and even French bread. Yesterday morning, early in the morning, during a vision, I was talking with the Spirit who told me to fast and pray unto God, and during this day as I ventured from the house, as I was driving a suburban pulled in front of me with a license tag that read “844” which draws my mind to one of two scriptures, but I wasn’t quite sure at this point. My attention was further gained as I was listening to chapter 5 of The Desire of Ages on my cell phone and the audio stopped at approx.. 8:44. At this point I began to ask of the Lord what exactly He was trying to tell me and as I watched (waited for a response) my mind was searching. Then as I drove by a sign, the message was right before me. “The message is in French.” I knew the Lord had put this sign up to get my attention, and before I could marvel at the measures that might have been taken to get something like that accomplished, I asked Him about the message. French? What on earth could He possibly mean? I prayed still, keeping my mind on the matter, but cautioned by the Spirit not to be presumptuous. Well, just minutes before my destination the Spirit quickens me to look at a car tag with a license with a rainbow on it that said CHE. I thought to myself, that sounds French. As I pulled the car to a stop I looked up the word CHE and it pulled up the communist Marxist Che Guevera. The one word that stuck out in his bio was Rebellion. At this point I had a great idea of which scripture the Lord was alerting me to and in this case it was indeed a scripture of warning. “You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and stayed not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” John 8:44 Still at this point the revelation was blurry at best, but the Holy Spirit gave me a great lead, “French Rebellion.” The next morning after arising and entering into my devotion, reading the book of Ruth, the Spirit led me to the Great Controversy, and to my surprise at a glance of the chapter titles I noticed chapter 15 titled “The Bible and the French Revolution.” The chapter discussed how the government of France made league with the Papacy and entered into open rebellion against the word of God, which sparked the French Revolution. The Holy Spirit has earmarked in my soul that this is the exact same path that the United States is taking as just last week we have legalized same sex marriage. Not condemning any man, but taking note of the fact that when a nation legalizes wickedness destruction is soon to follow. “Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” Proverbs 14:34 As I was writing this report the Holy Spirit quickend me back to the license tag that read CHE with a rainbow on it. A rainbow is a sign that God will not destroy the earth by a flood anymore, but it has been adopted by the gay community to represent their freedom. “Enraged at the glittering cheat to which they had so long paid homage, they rejected truth and falsehood together; and mistaking license for liberty, the slaves of vice exulted in their imagined freedom.” –Great Controversy chapter 15

A lot of the activity took place in Italy, where a law allowing businesses to choose their own opening hours was only passed in December. From the Bible, both the old and new testaments God speaks to us through types and symbols, often which have multiple meanings. “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” 1 Corinthians 2:12-13 Spiritual lessons are taught through natural lessons of nature as well as in life, of which God Himself is in complete control of. “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.” Isaiah 45:7 The only way to be sure about the interpretation of a thing is to get to know Jesus for yourself. “My sheep hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me.” John 10:27 “Study to shew yourself approved…” 2 Timothy 2:15 Holy Spiritual lessons can be learned from every field of study including nature, science, history, math, geography, psychology, sociology, and even business. Inviting Jesus, the word of God in our hearts opens up the opportunity for a bright and fruitful understanding of the world we live in according to the truth. “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead…” Romans 1:20 An imperative spiritual lesson that every believer (especially Seventh Day Adventists) needs to know, can be learned from the life of the late Babylonian king, Nebuchadrezzar. Nebuchadrezzar restored old religious monuments and improved canals, as other Babylonian kings had done. He was the first Babylonian king to rule Egypt, and controlled an empire that extended to Lydia, but his best known accomplishment was his palace: a place used for administrative, religious, ceremonial, as well as residential purposes. The Spirit tells us that he was the Lord’s servant, though he himself knew not the Lord for himself during his early kingship, the Lord knew him. “Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, said the LORD, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations.” Jeremiah 25:9 “…even God, who quickens the dead, and calls those things which be not as though they were.” Romans 4:17 God raised up Nebuchadrezzar as his prod to chastise the children of Israel for their rebellion against His covenant. As prophesized he destroyed the temple at Jerusalem and carried off the spoil to his kingdom and magnified himself in the sight of all. The lesson that we must learn today is that as the same way Nebuchadrezzar was used in ancient Israel, is the same way that the LORD will use the Pope upon spiritual Israel, even the Seventh –Day Adventists for our rebellion. “I am filled with sadness when I think of our condition as a people. The Lord has not closed heaven to us, but our own course of continual backsliding has separated us from God. Pride, covetousness, and love of the world have lived in the heart without fear of banishment or condemnation. Grievous and presumptuous sins have dwelt among us. And yet the general opinion is that the church is flourishing, and that peace and spiritual prosperity are in all her borders. The church has turned back from following Christ her leader, and is steadily retreating toward Egypt. Yet few are alarmed or astonished at their want of spiritual power. Doubt and even disbelief of the testimonies of the Spirit of God is leavening our churches everywhere. Satan would have it thus.”—Testimonies for the Church 5:217

Taking a close look at the prophecy in Daniel and Revelation in context with bible truth in cross-reference with the geographic location of Rome reveals that spiritual Babylon, even the papacy is but a prod in the hand of God. In the book of Daniel the Spirit tells us of the interpretation of a dream Nebuchadnezzar had: “Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terribleterribleterribleterrible... This image's head was of fine goldgoldgoldgold,… His legs of iron…Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory…. And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: for as much as iron breaks in pieces and subdues all things: and as iron that breaks all these, shall it break in pieces and bruisebruisebruisebruise.” Daniel 2:31-40 The Spirit of prophecy through the protestant reformers as well as Ellen G. White both confirm that this fourth kingdom is indeed the papacy. The legs of this image in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream are made of iron, and this ironironironiron is prophesied to break and bruise, but break and bruise what? In the book of Revelation the Spirit tells us of God’s true church: “And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailingtravailingtravailingtravailing in birth, and pained to be delivered….And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.” Revelation 12:1,2,& 5 The Spirit reveals to us that the woman indeed is the church with the crown of twelve stars on her head representing the tribes of Israel, and the man child that she birthed is none other than Jesus Christ, who sits at the right hand of God. Notice the rodrodrodrod of iron… it’s in His hands, even to rulerulerulerule all nations with. The papacy seeks to rule all nations and bring everyone under their one world order, yet they know not that they are but a prod prod prod prod in the hand of God to try man to see if He will serve Him or not. As the papacy moves across the world they are only accomplishing the purposes of God. Their power is not their own, and as Jesus told Pilate before giving up His life for us said, “…You could have no power at all against me, except it were given you from above…” John 19:11 so must we say who shall be given into the hands of the papacy during the time of troubletroubletroubletrouble, even to the glory of God. The Spirit has confirmed this revelation that we might realize at least these three things: (1)(1)(1)(1) God has complete and total control of everything (2)(2)(2)(2) His love and his mercy through Christ is incredible (3)(3)(3)(3) There is no more time for games, probation is about to close.

WWWWe have become weary and not in well-doing, rather from the inventions of our own minds and the pursuit of our own needs. God has promised us that if we seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, then everything we need will be added to us. {Matthew 6:33} Many who have presumed to know the truth do not realize how much error exists in their understanding and have grown bitter due to the lack of living water supply in their system. The cares of the world choke up the seed of God’s word and many are famished from their lack of spiritual nutrition, yet they know it not. “The wages of sin is death, but the giftgiftgiftgift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ.” Romans 6:23 God, does not force us to follow Him, rather He presents us with a choice: “See, I have set before thee this day lifelifelifelife and good, and death and evil.” Deuteronomy 30:15 As when taking any multiple choice test, the asset that will help you make the best choice is a fine-tuned vocabulary. Knowing the definitions of meanings of the words and symbols in the Bible will not only help us make a better decision, but will gird our souls with hope in the middle of a storm. “My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge…” Hosea 4:6 Jesus Himself bids the weary soul. “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give give give give you rest Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” Matthew 11:28, 29 The rest that Christ invitesinvitesinvitesinvites us to enter into is tied up in work, but not as the world perceives. He says “learn learn learn learn of me” which indicates that He wants us to spend time with Him in His word through which He promises that we will find rest for our souls, even by prayerfully studying the scriptures. “For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshingrefreshingrefreshingrefreshing…” Isaiah 28:10-12 In order to obtain an accurate knowledge of the scriptures, Heaven’sHeaven’sHeaven’sHeaven’s way, and to prevent hypocrisy and/or tunnel vision, another step must be taken towards Christ who bids us “Come, follow Me...” Matthew 4:19 “If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.” John 7:17 Becoming a doerdoerdoerdoer of God’s word earns us a far deeper impression on our soul that hearing alone and conforms our character into the image of Christ. Our hearts gaingaingaingain the experience of the intellectual knowledge retained in our minds as the blessing of God’s presence in Christ, who is the word of God lightens our countenance with gloryglorygloryglory! “Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls…” Jeremiah 6:16 The interpretation is sound, and the promisepromisepromisepromise is sure: “To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:” Colossians 1:27 The word makes the world go round and the people of God have forgotten the works of God, though He has not forgotten us. “If we believe not, yet he abides faithful: he cannot deny himself.” 2 Timothy 2:13 “For it is God who works in you both to will and do His good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13 To counter balance balance balance balance the unbelief in the body of Christ, the people must be persuaded of their spiritual nakedness, but not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit saith the Lord.” Zechariah 4:6 Only the cutting truth of the word of God, by the hammer of His lovelovelovelove can pierce through the sin-hardened heart and bring in everlasting righteousness. We must labor to believe by hearing and doing God’s word by the powerpowerpowerpower of the Holy Spirit! AskAskAskAsk and ye shall receive! “The people asked Jesus, what must we do, to do the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto the people, this is the work of God, that you believe believe believe believe on Him whom He has sent.” John 6:28,29 Christ’s method and Christ’s method alone will work, every other road leads to weariness. A people must be warned and rebuked as well as exhorted and edified. This work can only be done by the word of God and the word of God alone through the power of the Holy Spirit. “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4 “IFIFIFIF ye continue in my word, thenthenthenthen are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you freefreefreefree.” John 8:31, 32 In conclusion, primitive godlinessgodlinessgodlinessgodliness is the road we must travel, and every decision must be made with a good good good good conscience in the fear of God in respects to as it is written in the Holy Bible: “Thus saith the Lord.” yet, while trusting in God’s mercy, not to be entangled in the condemnation of our own thoughts, we must have fear towards God, but faith faith faith faith in Jesus, who is the word. “I am like an olive tree in the house of God, I will trust in the mercy of God forever.” Psalm 52:8

Struggling saints have fainted under the pressure of their feelings connected to their inabilities to do God’s will, not realizing that it is indeed impossible for them to accomplish, that is in their own strength! Paul’s successful Christian walk was not because he was so strong, but quite the contrary because he was so weak! In reference to a thorn in his flesh Paul said “For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:8-10 Like Paul, we must approach the throne of grace boldlyboldlyboldlyboldly in the time of need asking God for power to overcome our known and unknown weaknesses lest we fall out of the way. God does not expect us to fight the battle in our puny strength, for we are no match for sin or Satan and his angels for that matter. “All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle)))) is the Lord’s…” 1 Samuel 17:47 The grace or divinedivinedivinedivine strength of God is sufficient to every human character deficiency spiritually, mentally, and physically and according to our faith it will be dispensed to us in the time of need. “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13 However, we must be sincere and vigilant vigilant vigilant vigilant “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 7:21 It is our responsibility to ask God for grace to do His will, even whatever He has pointed to you through the scriptures of you personally. He simply bids us to bring to come to Him in our weakness and offer up a sacrifice in the faith of Jesus and He will turn our inability to an abilityabilityabilityability through the word of God, Jesus Christ. The creature who continuously embraces God’s word and through His Spirit walks in it will be transformed into the image of the His son. Choice by choice we must make a decided effort to choose the good and refuse the evil in a complete forsaking of our own thoughts. “Let the wicked man forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts and let him turn to the Lord and He will have mercy upon him, He will abundantly pardon.” Isaiah 7:55 Trust the word and obey through the Spirit every day, there is no other way to be happyhappyhappyhappy in Jesus. “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarderrewarderrewarderrewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6 And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.” Psalm 9:10 “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.” Proverbs 24:16 These are wise and faithful sayings from the only wise God, who loves you more than you love yourself. “He that covers his sins shall not prosperprosperprosperprosper: but whosoever confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy.” Proverbs 28:13 Cats cover up their mess, while dogs bark and moan until their master cleans it up! “ Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. IV. Positive Reinforcement

• The Bible must be your counselor. Study it andandandand the testimonies God has given; for they never contradict His Word. {3SM 32.3}

• “…you have purified your souls in obeying the truth throughthroughthroughthrough the Spirit unto unfeigned love…” 1 Peter 1:22 Rest and Righteousness are secured throughthroughthroughthrough hearing obeying God’s word.

• Just as soon as the people of God are sealed in their foreheads--it is not any seal or mark that can be seen, but a settling into the truth, both intellectually and spiritually, so they cannot be moved--just as soon as God's people are sealed and and and and prepared for the shaking, it will come. Indeed, it has begun already; the judgments of God are now upon the land,… that we may know what is coming. {FLB 288}

• But let the testimonies speak for themselves. Let not individuals

gather up the very strongeststrongeststrongeststrongest statements, given for individuals and families, and drive these things because they want to use the whip and to have something to drive. Let these active, determined temperaments take the Word of God and the testimonies, which present the necessity of forbearance and love and perfectperfectperfectperfect unity, and labor zealously and perseveringly. With their own hearts softened and subdued by the grace of Christ, with their own spirits humble and fullfullfullfull of the milk of human kindness, they will not create prejudice, neither will they cause dissension and weaken the churches. {2MR 106.3}

• Ever are we to keep in mind the solemn thought of the Lord's soon return, and in view of this to recognize the individual

work to be done. Through the aidaidaidaid of the Holy Spirit we are to resist natural inclinations and tendencies to wrong, and weed out of the life every un-Christlike element. Thus we shall prepare our hearts for the reception of God's blessing, which will impart to us grace and bring us into harmony with the faith of Jesus. For this work of preparation greatgreatgreatgreat advantages have been granted to this people in light bestowedbestowedbestowedbestowed, in messages of warning and instruction, sent through the agency of the Spirit of God. {HP 347.3}

• In ancient times God spoke to men by the mouth of prophets and apostles. In these days He speaks to them by the

testimonies of His Spirit. There was never a time when God instructed His people more earnestlyearnestlyearnestlyearnestly than He instructs them now concerning His will and the course that He would have them pursuepursuepursuepursue.-- Testimonies, vol. 5, p. 661. {3SM 30.2}

• Men may get up scheme after scheme and the enemy will seek to seduce souls from the truth, but all who believe that the Lord has spoken through Sister White and has given her a message will be safe from the many delusions that will come in these last days. --3SM 83, 84 (1906). {LDE 44.2}

• The bottom line is-the straightstraightstraightstraight testimony is the voice of Jesus speaking to us through the agency of His Spirit, inviting us into an intimate relationship with Him, so that we may be prepared to live with Him forever! It's an incredibly loving message, containing precious and valuable truth that we desperatelydesperatelydesperatelydesperately need. Only those with renewed hearts can truly appreciate this message. Jesus is willingwillingwillingwilling to empower us so that every decision we make will be in harmony with the mind of Christ. What amazing love He has for us.

They may profess what they please, only make them care more for money than for the success of Christ’s kingdom or the spread of the truths we hate. Present the world before them in the most attractive light, that they may love and idolize it. We must keep in our ranks all the means of which we can gain control. -{EW 266.1}

The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving upthe doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this reformation to take place, what would result? The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the remnant church, would be discarded. Our religion would be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A new organization would be established. Books of a new order would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced. The founders of this system would go into the cities, and do a wonderful work. The Sabbath of course, would be lightly regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the new movement. The leaders would teach that virtue is better than vice, but God being removed, they would place their dependence on human power, which, without God, is worthless. Their foundation would be built on the sand, and storm and tempest would sweep away the structure. {1SM 204.2}

Shortly before I sent out the testimonies regarding the efforts of the enemy to undermine the foundation of our faith through the dissemination of seductive theories, I had read an incident about a ship in a fog meeting an iceberg. For several nights I slept but little. I seemed to be bowed down as a cart beneath sheaves. One night a scene was clearly presented before me.
