OrMaster's degree in Basic Science such as Microbiology/ Biotechnology/Life Science and have qualified NET* and have 02 years researchexpenence.*Any National level examination conducted by the Central Govt.Depts./ Agencies /Institute for admission to PhD Programme areconsidered as NET for the Purpose ofRAISRF, such as:.

• CSIR-CSIR-UGC National Edibility Test.

• MHRD - Graduate Aptitude Test in engineering admission.• DBT -Biotechnology Eligibility test & test' conducted in Bioinformatics by

Bioinformatics National Consortium.

• DAE-JEST & JGEEBlLS, NBHM

• ICMR-JRF Entrance Examination

• ICAR-Test conducted by lCAR for admission to Ph.D. Programme.

• DoP-GPAT.4 Desirable Experience in any working in any research organizationl knowledge of computer

application with statistical analysis.5 Emoluments Rs. 25,0001- per month + 20% HRA for 1SI & 2nd Year

Rs. 28,0001- per month + 20% HRA for 3rd year6 Age Below 35 years of age for men and 40 years for women with 5 years relaxation

to SC/ST and 3 years relaxation for OBC7 Duration From the date of joining to one year (may be extended till the project is

completed)- -

8 Nature of work Exploration survey, collection of samples from different area of A & N Island,laboratory work, analysis and data compilation

9 Place of work Andaman & Nicobar Islands

Conditions:I. Candidates should bring their original and attested copies of certificate of all documents supporting their

educational qualification and experience at the time of Walk-in-Interview.

2. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.

3. The above position s is purely temporary and will be filled on contract basis. There is no provision of re-

engagement after termination of the project.

4. The PI of the project has sole right to terminate the staff ifhis performance is consistently below average or

such other reason deemed to be fit.

5. All eligible candidate are requested to be present 01 (One) hour before scheduled time

on the date of Interview for necessary formalities.

6. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

7. The decision of the Director, CIARI, Port Blair will be final and binding in all respects.
