MIRACLES
Of the EUCHARIST
TRAVELING EXHIBIT
June 15 - July 7
In Rosary Hall
This exhibit presents and examines Eucharistic Miracles officially recognized by the Catholic Church. It has traveled to all five continents, appeared in hundreds of churches, schools and other organizations, and still continues its travels today. The exhibit currently contains 153 panels using an extensive assortment of photographs and historical descriptions to explain the Eucharistic Miracles, with additional country and historical panel maps. By means of the panels, one can “virtually visit” the places where these miracles took place. We desire to make the exhibit available immediately following each of the daily Masses, from 4 - 7 p.m. on Saturdays, and from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Sundays; however, we need adult volunteers to staff the exhibit in order for this to happen. Please call the parish office if you can donate an hour or two to help us.
STEWARDSHIP INITIATIVE Our fiscal year is July 1, 2018 - June 30, 2019

S T E W AR D S H IP R E F L E C T IO N
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” (Revelations 22:13)
This is a reminder of how we should live our lives 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – putting God first in all that we do. Not only when I am at Mass and parish activities, but when I am in the world, at work or at school. Living gratefully and generously is a lifestyle; it should influence how I make all my daily decisions.
Put God first and learn how to share your gifts by supporting our parish through the offertory and The Catholic Foundation. Visit www.catholic-foundation.org/development for more information.
Thank you for your generosity!

BEREAVEMENT MINISTRY: Team A
Notes From The Choir Loft By Christopher Urbiel, Director of Liturgy & Music
Liturgical Music For Next Week: Processional Hymn: 483 Come, Holy Ghost (Lambillotte) Offertory Hymn: 627 Love Divine, All Loves Excelling (Hyfrydol) Anthem @ 11 a.m.: Draw Us in the Spirit’s Tether (Harold Friedell) Postcommunion Hymn: 838 Ye Watchers and Ye Holy Ones (Lasst uns erfreuen) Organ Recessional: Veni Creator Spiritus (Wilbur Held)
At the 11 a.m. Mass this Pentecost, the choir sings the lovely “Draw Us in the Spirit’s Tether,” with text by Percy Dearmer and tune by Harold Friedell. Dearmer was an influential English clergyman who championed a return to the sources in liturgy and music – and advocated for justice as the logical outgrowth of true worship. Friedell was an Episcopal organist in the early 20th century, most famously in charge of the music at the grand Saint Bartholomew’s Church on Park Avenue in NYC. Friedell crafted the melody for use at Communion on Pentecost, and it perfectly matches the uplifting words about discipleship. Thus, it has en-tered the worship of many Christian denominations, and can be found at number 510 in the St. Michael Hymnal.
