Who would be the audience for your media product?

My intended target audience for my music magazine is for 17-24 year olds and both genders. My audience are typically students studying at college and university and majority of the students reply on their parents for income.

Their free time is spent downloading new song releases and attending popular festivals such as V Festival, Wakestock, Reading Festival, etc. The readers enjoy having a unique fashion style and prefer to shop at Topshop, River Island, Vans and Ray Ban. Some of the readers may have a part time job allowing them to afford the luxury of buying new clothes often.

Majority of the readers enjoy going out and drinking on the weekend and enjoy chilling out with friends. Readers iPod’s features bands such as Coldplay, Noah and the Whale, Florence and the machine and Kings of Leon. Readers seek individualism and enjoy trying new things to add to their interests.
