AgeMy magazine in terms of age is represented through mise en scene, the models and the use of language.The type of language I used in my double page spread, contents page and front cover was mostly formal however I had elements of colloquialism to make it relatable to my target audience.The location for my front cover was on a roof top and for my double page spread, it was in an old building. I think this was very symbolic of my target audience as teenagers are very rebellious and enjoy freedom so these types of locations give that sort of feel.The clothing I used for my models was representative of what my audience research stated. 85% of my responses felt that edgy, street clothing best represented R&B so I took this initiative and incorporated it in my photoshoot.

GenderI think by being having both genders spread across my media products fulfils my idea of my magazine being readable for males and females. Although age is an important factor, I think layout and design helps to really emphasise who you are trying to target. For example my main font colours are black, grey, white and burgundy. I think by having these colours across my media products helps to meet the target audience I intended.
