DANCE BABY BALLET (Child Only) Baby Ballet encourages self-expression and fun! Children learn to respond to music, improve balance and agility, and express their feelings through dance. A variety of music and props such as scarves and teddy bears keep your little one entertained. Parents may stay for first 10 min of first class and are invited back at the end of program for a class demonstration. Suggested Attire: Comfortable clothes or leotards, tights and tutus. Ballet and Tap Tippy Toe Turns, Alligator Walks, & Magic Garden Dances! This is a great class which introduces your child to ballet and tap. They will learn ballet steps, tap combinations, use props, and understand dance termi-nology, while dancing to fun music! All dancers will do an in class performance on the last day of the session. Cheerleading Go Team! Students will learn arm motions, jumps, dance, pom pom and cheer routines. TAP/BALLET This tap/ballet class introduces children to the basics of both ballet and tap, combining creative movement, grace and balance. Students learn basic tap steps such as shuffles, rhythm exercises, and springs, and elementary ballet including plies, tendus, passes, and the basic ballet positions. Instruction advances with age and ability of partici-pants. Parents may stay for first 10 min of first class and are invited back at the end of program for a class demonstration. PIANO KEYBOARDING CONTINUING A continuation class for students who have completed our beginners course. Students will be instructed on good practice skills, note read-ing, rhythm, theory, technique, and performance. Access to piano/keyboard at home is essential for progress. WILLOW GLEN CHILDREN’S THEATER (WGCT) Give your child the chance to act on stage! Kids participate in the entire process of creating an original play, from the first spark of an idea to the final moment of taking a bow on stage. The workshop draws children in right from the start with theatre games and impro-vised scenes. Our unique approach will teach your kid tools that they can apply to their everyday life and will help them make new friends through the magic of theatre. SOCCER 2: SKILLZ & SCRIMMAGES Kidz will enjoy advanced skill building: dribbling, passing, shooting and more in a team format. MINI GYM STARS A great beginner gymnastic class teaching basic gymnastic skills, including movement exploration, balance, and coordination, and at the same time teaching agility and improving motor skills. Parents are allowed to stay for the first 10 minutes on the first day of class and are encouraged to attend the last class for a great recital. Instructor: Dance Arts Academy

TENNIS-MINI An introductory program for the young athlete. Fundamental ball skills, movement, and coordination exercises will be included. Using the NEW Quick Start Format– age & skill appropriate rac-quets, balls & courts, and a games based approach to learning-your child will learn the proper fundamentals to enjoy the game. TENNIS-RALLYBALL 1 Join thousands of new tennis players in one of the fastest growing games in the country. But, this is not your traditional tennis lesson! Learn tennis drills and methods you can do with your child. Partici-pants must provide their own racquet and wear proper tennis shoes (no black soled shoes, please!). TENNIS-Cardio Tennis This high energy fitness activity combines the best features of tennis with cardiovascular exercise, de-livering the ultimate, full body, calorie burning aerobic workout. It's a social and fun class for players of all abil-ity levels taught by a certified teaching professional. If you've never played tennis before it is a great introduc-tion to the sport and if you are an experienced tennis player it is a great way to train for tennis. ABOUT TODD DISSLY ATHLETICS: Todd Dissly Athletics (TDA) was honored by Racquet Sports Industry (RSI) as the 2013 Champion of Tennis. In 2012 TDA was awarded the USPTA Service to Tennis Award. Flower Arrangement Workshop Learn to balance color while creating center pieces that fit within a shoe-string budget. Design a “Martha Stewart” style bouquet from a simple $14 grocery store bouquet. Camp San Jose CAMP SAN JOSE @ WILLOW GLEN At Camp San Jose your child gets an unforgettable, traditional summer camp experience for under $5 an hour! Your child will be playing crazy games, sports, creating cool arts & crafts projects, singing funny songs and embarking on a weekly, entertaining field trip. KinderCamp KINDER CAMP @ KIRK COMMUNITY CENTER This camp prepares your child for kindergarten with age-appropriate activities, learning concepts, socialization skills and fun. Your child will learn alphabet sounds, shapes and colors. Children will participate in songs, dance, sharing, daily work-sheets, structured & free play, and outside play time. F.I.T. Camp At F.I.T. (Funtastic Incredible Training) Camp, your child will learn healthy habits while gaining strength and self-esteem. Our leaders use evidence based curriculum to help your child develop a positive self-image, get physically fit, build confidence, learn new activities, make life-long friendships and have the time of their lives! Each week will have a different theme, introducing children to fun, new physical activities. For this TWO WEEK CAMP. Bring a healthy lunch, running shoes, wear sunscreen and your t-shirt everyday. Camp Leadership The Leadership Camp is designed for ages 11-13 year olds that need a more mature camp, Typical Fun camp but with age appropriate activities. Campers get to become a role model to the younger campers and take on a more responsible role by planning and leading fun and exciting camp games and activities. Working closely with Rec-reation Staff, they will learn to be an important part of the team in camp! Camp will bring a sense of pride in helping others and a whole lot of fun! Art Exploration Camp This visual arts program uses a variety of art media that will inspire students in the creation of their own original works of art! Instruction includes visual arts vocabulary and the basic elements of art. Students will also learn about the arts in different cultures and traditions, gaining a deeper appreciation for the world around them. Baseball The HIT & RUN Baseball/Softball camps offered by the National Academy of Athletics offer beginner to intermediate players the opportunity to build a solid foundation in both Baseball and Softball. Individual instruction is given in both sports, by college level players. Baseball/ Flag Football Flag Football / Baseball Combo Camp is a great way to offer two sports at the same location. Camp Dance A little bit of everything! Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Gymnastics, Cheer, Singing, and Hawaiian are all taught in this great half-day camp. Participants are placed in age-appropriate classes. A snack and juice is provided. Great recital for parents on Friday! Cheer Dance Camp This class has it all! Your child will learn cheerleading motions, cheers, chants, jumps, technique, and get pom-poms. They will also learn basic jazz and hip-hop moves to their favorite music. Your child will perform and in class routine on the last day of camp. Students need to bring a water bottle and snack. Digital Animation Students are introduced to fundamental digital computer animation. Engineering FUNdamentals: Mine, Craft, Build LEGO® Bring Minecraft to life using LEGO! Build a motorized walking Creeper, a terrifying Ghast, and a motorized Minecart! This project-based camp, designed by Play-Well instructors, combines the basic format of our core engineering-themed programs based on the world of Minecraft. Students will explore real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture while building their favorite Minecraft objects. Students will have a blast, even without any prior experience with Minecraft or LEGO. Field Hockey Camp Developed from and based on the fundamental program offered by USA Field Hockey, our introductory program is great for beginners and intermediate play-ers who want to work on their fundamental skillsets. This program will prepare you to participate in league and school play without the stress of having to perform and compete. It's all about the FUN! We teach the fundamentals around proper grip and posture, ball control, receiving and trapping, passing and Field Hockey/ Lacrosse Lacrosse / Filed Hockey Combo Camp is a great way to offer two sports at the same location. Participants get to learn and play in one sport specific camp in the morning and a different sport in the afternoon. Camper can sign up for a full and half day option. Send your child to a program in a fun and safe environ-ment with a motivating and positive coaching staff. Participants are grouped by age and ability. Filmmaking Participants work in small groups to script, film, edit and score a film using their own ideas. The goal is for each to learn visual storytelling through digital filmmaking and be able to continue after the class becoming film creators.

Flag Football Camp Ready to play some football? Whether you are a beginner or advanced player, the drills taught at this program will help you improve your game. Our non-contact programs are the perfect introduction to football. Emphasis will be on proper conditioning and warm-ups, footwork drills, agility, passing, receiving, and game strategies. Feel good sending your kids to a football program that's in a fun and safe environment with a motivating and positive coaching staff. This program is perfect for boys and girls ages 7 - 9 and 10 - 12. Participants are grouped by age and ability. Flag Football League Let's play some Football! Our non-contact, Flag Football League is a great way to introduce your young athletes ages 8 -11, to the fun and excitement of playing football, without the contact. In week one, all "Free-Agent" players will be evaluated and put through a series of combine like, football skills and assessment drills. Players will be taught the fundamentals of the sport including footwork, positioning, passing and receiving skills and Flag Foot-ball rules and regulations. Following those assessments, teams will be chosen by volunteer, Parent Coaches. Garden Fairy Explorations Camp @ Willow Glen Garden Fairies are magical! Let your child (boy or girl) believe in the magic and fascination that Fairies bring! Your child will enjoy hearing special "FAIRY TALES" building natural Fairylands and explore our magical Fairy Garden where the fairies come alive! Crafts will include fairy wings, masks, face painting and other fun creations! Your child will bring home special creations to excite them for the entire summer! For full day care your child may enroll in our half day camp from 12-6 for an additional fee. Please come with sunscreen on. Hip Hop Dance Camp Come out and learn the hottest new age appropriate hip hop dance moves that you see on TV. In this high energy camp we use the latest music like Radio Disney, Kid's Bop, and more! The class environment is relaxed so all beginners feel comfortable. Students need to bring a water bottle. Danc-ers will perform an in class dance on the last day of camp. JR. Sports Academy Jr. Academy by National Academy of Athletics gives children ages 3-6yrs, a fun, active and educational experience tailored to the abilities of their age group. Our program uses FUN to teach problem solving skills and the beginning fundamentals for sports including throwing, catching, kicking, running and teamwork. Jr. Academy provides structured simple activities, individual and team-building challenges along with simple, small sided competitions to develop and engage small athletes. Jr. Super Hero Engineering with LEGO® Save the world with LEGO® Super Heroes! Build the hideouts and vehicles of your favorite caped crusaders and learn what makes them not only Super Heroes, but Super Hero Engineers! An experienced Play-Well instructor guides young heroes as they design, build, and save a city where ingenuity and imagination can solve any conflict. Lacrosse Camp Our introduction to Lacrosse program was developed to help beginners and intermediate players improve their skill sets with exceptional instruction in all aspects of the game. We start from square one and focus on being fundamentally sound and technically correct. Great for kids ages 7-9 and 10-13, this program will build each individual player from the ground up so that they walk away feeling more confident, knowing they have a strong foun-dation for future success. Mobile App Development Learn the basics needed to create your own mobile games or helpful apps! Participants will learn the basics of mobile app development and will build simple, introductory applications. This class is useful for students who are interested in technology or video games, as well as for students who simply want to make a cool mobile app to share with family and friends! Bring a flash drive on the last day to take your App home and share! Ninjaneering with LEGO® Enter the world of Ninjago and become an apprentice Ninjaneer! Learn the way of Spinjitzu, build the Fire Temple, race Skull Trucks, and encounter the mighty Dragon! Imagine and build unique and fun projects with the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor while exploring the fantasy world of Ninjago. This is an ideal way to prepare young Ninjaneers for the challenge of Ninjaneering Masters with LEGO® camp Play-Well Engineering FUNdamentals with LEGO® Have your child become a Play-Well Engineer! Students explore concepts in physics, architecture, mechanical and structural engineering, from Gear Cars to Battletracks. The engineer-designed curriculum challenges new and returning students to reach higher levels of engineering comprehension while having fun. Princess Dance Camp Twirling Tutus and Tiaras! In this very popular and magical Princess inspired camp, your child will dance to fun princess music, do arts and craft pro-jects, play princess games, and get a princess skirt and tiara. Skyhawks Flag Football Flag Football is the perfect introduction to ?America?s Game.? Campers learn skills on both sides of the football ? including the core compo-nents of passing, catching, and defense ? all presented in a fun and positive environment. The week ends with the "Skyhawks Sports Bowl"! All participants receive a t-shirt and a player evaluation. Participants should wear appropriate clothing and running shoes; bring a lunch, snack, water bottle and sunscreen for full day camps and bring two snacks, a water bottle, and sunscreen for half day camps. Skyhawks Mini-Hawk (Soccer,Baseball & Basketball) This multi-sport program was developed to give 4 to 7 year-olds a positive first step into athletics. Soccer, Baseball & Basketball are taught in a safe, structured environment filled with encouragement and fun. Through games and activities, campers explore balance, hand/eye coordina-tion, and skill development at their own pace. All participants receive a ball, t-shirt and a merit award. Participants should wear appropriate clothing and running shoes; bring two snacks, a water bottle, and sunscreen. Soccer Camp, Level 1, 2, 3 "Spend a week enjoying the world?s most popular sport in a fun, recreational environment. Learn and practice soccer skills including: dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting and defense. Everyone is a winner as the week's fun culminates in an age-appropriate ?World Cup? tournament. The camp format includes station rotations where campers will be exposed to a variety of tennis skills and games. Campers will be placed on teams and play for Team Of The Week and Camper Of The Week. Turf Camp A great way to introduce your youngsters to the world of sports, teamwork and athletics! Your child will have a blast playing games with the other children that may include: baseball, soccer, flag football, kickball, capture the flag, relay & obstacle races and a whole lot more. At the end of the week your child will be familiar with a variety of athletic activities! Video Game Design Participants in this class will learn how to design the concept and elements of basic, 2-dimensional computer/video games. The instructor will help guide the software development, with design guidance from the students. Students work in small groups to collaborate on at least one finished game. Willow Glen Children's Theatre Camp-WGCT The Willow Glen Children's Theatre presents a dynamic four weeks of theatre experience which includes improvisation theatre games and much more, and culminating in the presentation of an original play. Theatre Camp is held at Bramhall Park, which is located on Willow Street between Lincoln and Meridian Avenues. Cost includes Camp t-shirt and supplies. Parent help and participation is encouraged.
