Dr. Courtney Bibby enters her eighth season at the helm ofthe Lynn University women’s golf team. Since taking overhead coaching duties in 2003, Bibby has gone 124-131-2against Sunshine State Conference opponents, won 10tournaments and built the women’s golf program into anational power consistently ranked among the nation’s best. She has also coached five NGCA All-America selections, sixNGCA All-American Scholars and one SSC Women’sGolfer of the Year.

Lynn extended its string of consecutive appearances in theNCAA Tournament to eight in 2009-10 while also notchingthree top-five finishes as a team. Bibby’s team was led byMaha Haddioui, who became the program’s most decoratedplayer with her 10th accolade after becoming the first four-time Scholar All-American.

The Knights had a promising season in 2008-09, claimingvictory at the Springlake Invite for the third time in the lastfour years while also finishing in the top-three in eight of 11tournaments. Bibby also guided LU to the NCAAtournament for the seventh straight year while garnering themost All-SSC selections in program history with three.

A sixth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance in 2007-08highlighted a season in which Maha Haddioui emerged as not only one of the top women’s golfers in the SSC but in the nation. The sophomoretopped all golfers in NCAA Division II and finished 66th among all NCAA Divisions, the NAIA and NJCAA.

The Knights closed out the season ranked fourth but missed the cut for the national tournament.

Bibby, a four-year letterwinner under Cox, was a two-time Most Valuable Player recipient during her time as a Fighting Knight and posted the team’s loweststroke-average in three of her four years, becoming the first player in program history to accomplish this feat.
