Gosh!

A title slide!

Page 2: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

“Hey guys! Remember me? Ahahaha no, of course you won’t, you’ve never even seen me before! Well, I’m the new and

improved AliiDos simself, now with 95% less makeup and 100% less pointy jaw line of death! I know I’ve been on a looooooong

hiatus, but I started my A2 levels and they were HARD. There was also family stuff and university applications to get through...”

Page 3: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

“...Buuuut, uni rejected me, and my exams are coming to a finish. So now I have all the time in the world to sit around and play the

Costellos!”

Yeah, hi guys. It’s been, what, a year nearly? Golly, I’m an awful person. But I’m back now and ready to play! But before

we go back to the main house, let’s go catch up with the Generation A spares...

Page 4: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Anyone remember Arianna? No? Not surprised.

She was the secret romance sim who tried to muscle in on her sisters’ men before getting engaged to Remington Reeves here.

Well, now they’re married! And they’ve had two daughters, Aaricia (teen) and Savannah (child).

(Don’t judge me on the names, I don’t care about spare spawn so they get stuck with whatever the random name generator spits out at me. And no I don’t know who’s grave that is in the background)

Page 5: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Second born and elder twin, Alisa, married her high school sweetheart Daniel Enriquez, who still very much acts like a

teenager.

Daniel: “Check the guns baby!”

Quite.

They’ve had Ludoslaw (seriously) and Minoru (the girl).

Page 6: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

And the younger twin, Amadora, married Vincent Hunicke, the guy she randomly kissed in his dorm room who proceeded to glitch up

his hand and freak me out. He’s all fixed now though!

They’ve had Shandy (teen) and Germaine (child).

Before you ask, yes all the spares live together on a patch of grass. I don’t much care for this generation.

Page 7: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

But back to the house we actually DO care about!

When we last left off (in September of last year, God), the heir Agosto Costello had just fathered a set of twins.

This led to me bashing my head repeatedly on my desk until I fell into a coma like state, hence why I haven’t played in almost a year.

Not because I’m just plain lazy at all, noooo.

Page 8: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

There was also a toddler in the house, little Brunella.

She was busy learning everything a toddler needs to learn in the safe hands of her Nana Alii, the co-founder of the Costello legacy.

Page 9: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

And the eldest of Generation B and only blonde in the family, Bella.

She had learned all of her basic life skills and was doing fantastically in school. Her father Agosto was too lazy to care but her mother Sadie was very proud of her eldest child. To the extent

of punching the air and ‘whooping’.

Which brings us up to date!

Page 10: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

We kick off this instalment with Brunella’s birthday!

Thank God, I couldn’t handle her being a toddler for long with twins in the house.

Page 11: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Brunella: “Ooooo, pwitty...” *reaches towards flames*

I sense a pyromaniac a-brewin’

Uh, Sadie? Probably best not to look the other way when there’s fire near your toddler!

Sadie: “Huh?”

Page 12: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

***

Page 13: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Brunella! Get OUT of the Marsha gear!

Brunella: “My family seem to like it...”

I don’t care! If you stay looking like that my stomach is going to do flips and send me into panic overdrive whenever I see you out of the corner of my eye!

Brunella: “But-”

CHANGE.

Page 14: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

But does anyone listen to me around here? Nooo....

Seriously, I kept thinking she was Marsha from this angle!

This can’t be good for my health.

Brunella: “Hehehe, Bella! Let’s play dollies and be best friends forever and ever and ever!”

O__o

Page 15: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Hi Alii! Long time no see, didya miss me? Huh, didya?!

“What do you mean ‘long time no see’? You never went anywhere”

I haven’t played you in over a year...

“Nonsense! You’ve always been here”

Oh yeah, I forgot time stands still for them when I’m not there. Eh, works fine for me! Which twin are you feeding Alii?

“Who knows...”

Page 16: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Hi Bella! What’s shakin’?

“Ughh, I like, HATE mornings.”

But it’s the weekend! Shouldn’t you be excited to just play all day or whatever it is you children-types do?

“GO AWAYYY.”

Page 17: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Hey Agosto! How’s my favourite little virtual son? Missed me?

“Nghmfff morning.”

Bunch of early birds this lot.

Page 18: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

They should be alright after a good family breakfast.

Sadie: “So Bella, what movies do you want to watch this weekend?”

Bella: “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre!”

Agosto: “Uh, Bella...I don’t think that’s really very appropriate for young ladies.”

Bella: “Oh, uh...like, Barbie then?”

Page 19: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Hey Stu!

“You see Bianca, out there it is cold and miserable. Much like in here at the moment.”

Uh...Stu?

“Oh, hello RealAlii. Didn’t see you there.”

I guessed as much, is everything alright?

“Well...”

Well?

“It’s a bit...um...”

?

Page 20: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

“It’s a @!*#hole around here.”

Language!

“...it’s a pigsty?”

Much better. Well, what do you expect with twins and four adult sims who just want to feed them every five seconds? Someone should put poor

Bruno in his crib too.

Agosto!

Page 21: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

“But I don’t wanna hold this baby! He’s stinky and he makes the house messy. He is bad.”

Now now, I know you love your only son more than the earth itself Agosto.

“But the earth smells a lot better!”

Just put the poor thing in his crib!

Page 22: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Agosto: “Fine, fine! I’m doing it!”

Good, I see your mother is doing likewise with Bianca.

When will you people learn that you can just leave them in there and they only need to be fed twice a day? Sheesh.

Page 23: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Oh!

I realised that I’d never shown the legacy portraits so um...here they are.

Yeah...

Page 24: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Hi again Stu! Good to see you dressed for once.

“Oh, hello RealAlii. Can I help you?”

Well, uh, you see there’s been a bit of a glitch. Up until about ten seconds ago your life bar was half full and now it’s looking a bit...fuller.

“Oh.”

Yeah...so is there anything drastically important you want to do? I won’t be able to do your LTW but I can get you to full lifetime happiness.

Page 25: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

“Brunella I am going to teach you to study.”

“But Granddad I already know how to do my homework, how are you going to help?”

“I can make you do it faster.”

“Homework is hard Granddad, I don’t think-”

Brunella, humour the old man please.

“Okay...”

Page 26: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

“And so you see Brunella, by skipping out the hard questions you can finish your homework in half the time!”

Stuart! I don’t really think that’s what you should be teaching your granddaughter!

“Well, it worked for all my kids. And they went to university, 3 of them graduated. Are you going to university, RealAlii?”

Okay, point taken.

Page 27: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Time sure goes fast when you’re absolutely dreading an upcoming birthday!

But it had to happen sometime, so here goes nothing.

“Nyeeeh not twin toddlers again!” *twitchyeye*

“You Okay Alii?”

“Oh yes dear, but you have no idea what you’ve let yourself in for.”

Page 28: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

I don’t know where the other two are, maybe Agosto has heard one too many horror stories from his parents about raising twins.

Brunella: “Yaaaay fire! Wooo!”

Stu: “Uh, Brunella, we’re cheering for your brother and sister here sweetie.”

“FIREEEE!”

Page 29: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

And so, Stuart deafens Alii whilst she prepares to twirl Bianca.

Page 30: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

And poor Bruno fell asleep waiting!

Sadie: “Wake up little baby, it’s your birthday!

Page 31: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Here’s Bianca!

I LOVE her hair. :D

She’s 8/3/2/10/8

My nicest, neatest sim to date! (I think).

Page 32: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

And Bruno!

His hair pleases me less.

He’s 6/7/4/5/6

It will do us some good to have a neat heir, this house is always filthy.

Page 33: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

I dressed them in matching outfits and planned to take a cutesy-wootsey huggle picture, but they faced the wrong way in the quite

narrow hallway.

I was not impressed.

Bruno & Bianca: “Heehee!”

Page 34: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Alii absolutely adores these two, she’s rolled up wants to teach Bruno all his skills and won’t stop showering Bianca with affection.

Aww :D

Page 35: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

But this is no time for kicking back, oh no!

There is skilling to be done, so the toddlers are smart milked ASAP...

Page 36: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

...and get straight down to business!

I love how Alii and Stuart are teaching the kids to say ‘Nana’ and ‘Granddad’ respectively.

Page 37: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Brunella takes advantage of her new size to go meet her daddy when he gets home from work.

“I won’t hug you daddy, you might spontaneously combust. But I’ll dance on your feet, that way I can get away quickly if you burst

into flames.”

“You are a strange one Brunella...”

Page 38: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

And the toddlers learn to go poop.

Because I won’t have any more stinky children running around until Generation C now.

I won’t stand for it I say!

Page 39: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

I love it when all the children in the house are asleep, including the toddlers.

Page 40: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

It’s a rare moment of serenity that I cherish

Page 41: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

And Agosto is still showing that he’s a secret Family sim and being a generally fantastic father.

Page 42: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Toddlers don’t stay asleep for long though, and they have skills to learn!

But what else are retired grandparents for?

Page 43: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

It gives the actual parents a chance to sleep.

Page 44: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

I got bored of micromanaging everyone so we hired a butler. It’s not like they can’t afford it.

So he cares for the toddlers while everyone swans about in their PJs.

Butler: “Frammin’ toddlers! MumblegrumblenotwhatIsignedupforgrumblegrumble”

Page 45: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Sadie doesn’t have a job (I’m a big fan of stay at home mums) so I set her and her seven creativity poins to painting to earn a few

extra quid here and there.

What’s it gonna be Sadie?

“A magical land, where no one has ever heard of toddlers or stinky bottles...”

Page 46: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Stu teaches Bruno to walk, the last of his toddler skills.

Now they can be ignored left to their own devices to play like children should.

Page 47: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

I love it when the older girls bring other kids home.

“Hey! You know those two girls we just met? Where’d they go?!”

“Beats me, I don’t know much. I mean, I’m wearing a nightcap in the middle of the day.”

Page 48: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

“Hey Brunella? Do you feel like we’re like, forgetting something?”

“Hmmm, nope! You didn’t leave the oven on did you? You might start a fire!”

“I can’t even use the oven Nells.”

“Damn.”

Page 49: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

“She’s bound to do her homework at some point. If I stay here, she HAS to notice me. Yeah, I’ll just sit right here. Hehehehe.”

Go home, creepy girl.

Page 50: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

I think Stu is going a bit senile.

Not only is he standing up reading the newspaper when there’s a perfectly decent couch next to him, but he’s reading about knitting!

“Ooh, there’s a nice pattern here for a ladies’ sweater. Maybe Alii would like one...”

Oh dear.

Page 51: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

“Hey Bella? Can we be bestest friends forever and ever and ever?”

“Um, only because you’re like, my sister. You’re a bit creepy really Nells.”

“But I only want friends...”

I smell a Popularity sim.

Page 52: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

“Stuart darling, I hear you’ve been threatening to make me a sweater.”

“Yes there was a lovely cable knit pattern in the newspaper.”

“No, Stuart.”

“But darling I thought-”

“Kiss me you old fool.”

Page 53: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

“Tum-te-tum, making lunch for my family. Happy as Larry, nothing wrong at all. Lalala...”

Page 54: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Oh Stu, I’m so sorry.

So, so sorry.

:’(

“Hmm? I don’t know what you’re talking about RealAlii. I’m just serving up some lovely lunch for my lovely family.”

Page 55: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Do you have to do this Grim?

I AM AFRAID SO.

Can’t I just like, keep him forever?

THAT IS NOT HOW IT WORKS.

Page 56: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

STUART COSTELLO. YOUR TIME HAS COME.

“Hmm? Who said that? Did I even hear it? It’s like a voice, but not a voice...”

Page 57: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

HERE, HAVE A DRINK.

“Ooo free?”

OF COURSE, THERE IS NO MONEY WHERE WE ARE GOING.

“Just let me say goodbye-”

NO TIME, I’M AFRAID. COME ALONG, I HAVE BINKY TETHERED UP OUT BACK.

“Binky?”

MY HORSE.

“Granddad...?”

Page 58: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

-sniffle-

And so we say goodbye to Stuart Costello, co-founder of this legacy. Died age 70 simdays.

He did not achieve his lifetime want, but he did achieve full lifetime happiness.

Stuart is survived by his children Arianna, Alisa, Amadora and Agosto.

And His grandchildren Aaricia,Shandy, Ludoslaw, Minoru, Germaine, Savannah, Bella, Brunella, Bruno and Bianca.

He left money to Alii, Agosto, Brunella, Arianna, Alisa and six others.

He will be missed dearly, not least by me. :’(

Page 59: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

The butler grieved by setting fire to the kitchen.

“It’s all so traumatizing!”

“Don’t like, let Brunella in here!”

Page 60: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

“You folks are lucky I got here before any resident pyromaniacs saw this!”

Page 61: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Alii took Stu’s death incredibly hard. She stood like this for two sim hours, sobbing her heat out glitched through the door.

“My one true love! How will I manage without him?”

Page 62: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

“Gwandaaaaaaaaad!”

“Oh Bruno, come here...”

Page 63: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

“It will be all right, Nana’s here baby.”

:’(

Every time this lot cries I have a little cry too, he died so young!

RealStu is also not talking to me for letting him die, despite all the tears and cuddles.

Page 64: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Poor Agosto had to hear the news when he came back form work that night.

“Dad...?”

The poor thing. I’ve never seen a sim family cry so much.

Page 65: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

But, time waits for no man and life goes on.

It’s time for a triple birthday!

The girls here are waiting for the toddlers to be brought down to the brand new party room!

“Ehehehe firee...”

“Stay away from my cake Nells!”

(We’ve used the inheritance money to redecorate a bit, see if you can spot the differences!)

Page 66: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

“Do my babies really have to grow up?”

I’m afraid so Sadie, this is a legacy after all.

“But...my babies...”

Just think, the sooner they grow up, the sooner you get grandbabies!

“:D”

Page 67: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

“Woo! I grew up into an adorable outfit!”

“Yeah whatever, where’s MY cake?”

“Bella don’t be so rude.”

Page 68: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

“My outfit isn’t cute...”

Aww but YOU are, and I still love your hair :D

“:D”

Page 69: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

“Alright, it’s like, time for my birthday now. So like, gather round.”

Please don’t disappoint me Bella.

Page 70: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

“Like, I’m hawt.”

Get out of my house.

“You love me really.”

Grr.

Little miss annoying here has taken after her daddy. That’s right, ANOTHER romance sim! And this one wants twenty woohoos. GRR.

“Loves it.”

Page 71: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

Uh, Brunella, everyone else is in bed. Stop cheering for their birthdays.

Page 72: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

I gave the twins a matching split down the middle bedroom, because they’re my favourites the youngest always gets spoiled.

They even got identical toys out!

Awww :D

Page 73: A Very Italian Selfacy - Chapter Five

“...Hello?”

Aww poor Sadie, with all her kids at school she has nothing to do but sit in the SEXY NEW DINING ROOM.

Awh.

This is where I shall leave you!

Next time: Everyone else grows up and departs for university.

Comments are always welcome!

Good times!
