All personnel were held accountable for key performance indicators for the

services they supported. Service levels were regularly benchmarked against

external providers including a full-fledged competitive bid for outsourcing to

IBM or EDS. Service requests and workloads were measured and reviewed

as part of weekly management regimen.

Enterprise Architecture and Business Relationship Management - Developed and

maintained IT investment roadmaps based on Gartner architecture models to make

strategic investment decisions during Experian financial planning cycles.

Implemented a business relationship team and associated process of regularly

reviewing IT investments, business unit workload, and IT service level metrics with

business unit leaders.

Organizational Development – Successful leading, development, and recruitment of a

very talented technical team of managers and performers. An enviable organization

was created in which people are competing to join. A low voluntary attrition of

personnel was maintained, while consolidating multiple independent IT organizations

and culling out low performers. Focus was on constant improvement of people,

processes, services, and technologies.
