Swift River is a wholly‐ownedsubsidiary of The KuskokwimCorporation (TKC). TKC, an AlaskaNative Corporation with more than4,000 shareholders that was formed in1977, when 10 village corporationscreated under the Alaska Native ClaimsSettlement Act and located along themiddle region of the Kuskokwim River,merged. The villages include LowerKalskag, Upper Kalskag, Aniak,Chuathbaluk,Napaimute,CrookedCreek,Georgetown, Red Devil, Sleetmute, andStonyRiver. TKCownssurfacerightstomore than 950,000 acres in the middleKuskokwimregion.
