Many people, being tired and maybe disappointed with 1970, are looking forward to 1971 with new expectations and hopes. We, who work here for the Lord, are neither tired nor disappointed with 1970,and we pray that 1971 will be as fruitful and busy as was 1970.

Vhen we look back we can say together with David! "Bless the Lord, o my soul:and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, o my soul, andforget not all his benefits." Psl, 103:1-2

As never before we were all busy in 1970.We published and sent out thousands of copies of precious Christian litera -ture behind the Iron Curtain, Many times, when we are about to publish something, for instance Dela's poem book, we test the validity and importance ofsuch a publication, by publishing not more then 1,000 copies. The last day of the Youth Camp In Poland

Such letters make us happy and give us enthusiasm and energy for doing morethen we do now«

Of course it is a very time consuming effort, but as long as the Lord gives ushealth and opportunity we will never stop.

Lately, when after several repeated publications of thousands of copies of Life of Christ, vlsuallzed, and Book of Acts, we came to the bottom of our supplies and there were no more copies left, we thought that every one was supplied with those great and wonderful books which opened many hearts of childrenand adults alike for Christ to come in, we received a letter fcom a Catholicpriest with 5,000 parishioners asking to send him at least 3,000 copies of ourpublications, and again after prayerful consideration we decided to repeat thepublication.

There are many more glorious things to share with you, but we will stop hereasking ourselves: "How can we do it?"The answer is this:

First - We submitted ourselves completely to the will of the Lord.

Second - Ve commlted ourselves to His great Commlslon of compaslon and love.

Third - We put our trust in God and His divine leadership.

Fourth - Vie have faith In our beloved Christian Friends - the Church of Jesus

Dear Friends^

lovember, 1971

September 10th, day after the annual meeting of the Guidance Committee ofthe Department of Missions, I flew from Baltimore to Portland, Ore. in order to take part in the Northwestern School of Mission which lasted fromSept. 12th till 17th.In those few days I spoke in 6 churches. The School of Mission was veryenjoyable and very good. The interest of God's people in missions wasgreat and much was accomplished for the world-wide evangelism in those sixdays.

On the Lord's Day Sept. 19 I spoke at the West Hills Christian Church inPortland, Ore. for both services, and Monday, just a day before the 24thNational Missionary Convention, I attended the meeting of the professorsof Missions from the Bible Colleges. Then I attended and took part in the Convention. The Convention was wellattended and brought challenge and inspiration to those who attended. Thehighlight of the Convention was the last session on Friday night when anarea choir-750 voices brought the beautiful Cantata "So send I you" underthe direction of John W. Peterson, the author of the Cantata.

From Portland I flew to Alburquerque, N.Mex. to Ridgecrest ChristianChurch, Tom Pendergrass, minister, for their first Faith Promise Rally. The warm welcome of Christians at Ridgecrest Church and their enthusiasmfor missions inspired me for my presentations. I was very much impressedwith the dedicated Christians and leaders of that Chudch. The victorywas great. The goal of $8,525.00 was surpassed to over $15,000.00,Praise God for such victory!

From New Mexico I flew directly home and plungded again in a very busy

schedule here of writing, publishing and teaching.I also visited and spoke in the: Harmony Christian Church, Elwood, Ind., Bos-well Church of Christ, Boswell, Ind.; took part in two workshops at the Eastern Christian Convention, Altoona, Pa., and spoke during the Missionary Dayat the Fairmount Christian Church, Richmond, Va.Good Lord gives strength to me, my faimily and Bro. Winnik to do the work.

50 th ANNIVERSARY OF THE CHURCHES OF CHRIST IN POLAND

The great gathering at the 50thAnniversary

Jakoniuk, Bro. Boleslaw Winnik andmany others.

Despite the fact that Polish population consists in 95 % of Roman

Catholics, the living Word of Godwas able to penetrate in the heartsof people.

Bro. Jaroshevich and his faithful

CO-laborers worked day and night.Thousands of copies of Bibles andNew Testaments were given in thehands of people, Polish and Russian magazines were published, many different tracts were printed.

The Restoration Movement in Po

land was started in 1921 by Bro.K.J. Jaroshevich, graduate ofJohnson Bible College. Later Bro.Jaroshevich was joined by BrotherJohn Bukovich, gradxiate of Minnesota Bible College, and Bro. J.Sacewlcz.

From a very small beginning themovement grew into a great Church.Thousands of people accepted LordJesus Christ as personal Saviourand were baptized into Christ.By 1939 there were many churcheswith very well trained native leadership among whom was my fatherG. Bajko, George's father - PawelBajenski, Kostek's father - Nikon

After the war with the help ofBro. Jaroshevich and American

Christians our remaining preachers once more took to the a-

ction and the work moved on.

In 1954 when the Department ofMissions was organized we gotinvolved in the Polish minis

try.

From 1954 till the present daymost of our time is dedicated

toward that work and we can

say proudly that much was accomplished.

The preachers at the 50th Anniversary

Special courses were organizedto train young people for theministry, song leaders andSunday School teachers.

The Second World War in 1939

was a great blow not only forPoland as a nation, but alsofor the churches. Many ministers died or were killed and

many church buildings were destroyed.

Almost all literature and Bib

les were lost, but the Churchwhich was built upon the Rockstood firmly.
