Halloween JourneyHave you ever wanted a healthy, fun, less candy focused

Halloween celebration for your family? Te Nelson Wal-dorf School does just that! Small groups of children areguided along an enchanting pumpkin-lit path throughthe forest, past various scenes and characters a Hallow-een journey for children and their parents.

On All Hallows Eve, when the veils between worlds arethinner and one can see into the Magic world, the childrenmeet gnomes, airies, and magicians who will gif them

with natural healthy treats. Tis is a silent journey, to bet-ter see the magic o the night, and no photographing orvideoing is permitted. Te event is outdoors, so everyonemust dress or the cold crisp moonlight, chilly mysteriousclouds, urious reezing rain or sparkling snow.

Te Halloween Journey is scheduled by pre-bookedtimes only, at ten minute intervals, to allow time for thechildren to move from station to station without runninginto other groups. Tere is a limited number of journeys,and as hundreds of children have enjoyed this eventevery year it is always fully booked, well in advance of

Halloween. Bookings can be made, starting Tursday,October 24 at 8 am by going to the website www.hallow-eenjourney.eventbrite.ca

Tis event is ideal or children between the ages o threeand ten years. Adults/babies are ree when accompaniedby children. Cost is $10 per booking. Journeys take placebetween 5 pm to 7:30 pm on Tursday, October 31. Terewill be a bonre or warming up beore and afer the jour-ney. Popcorn and cider will be available or $2.

Despite the adverse weather conditions, Kaslo Suferest2013 was a great success, with 469 registrations, 398 newattendees, and 71 participating in more than one event.
