What is Excel?

Microsoft Excel is a program which allows one to

enter numerical values or data into the columns of a

spreadsheet, and to use them for

calculations, graphs, and statistical analysis.

Why use Excel?

It can be very useful for student interactive activities,

interactive lectures, and instructor use for developing

materials for class.

A spreadsheet is software that permits numerical

data to be used and to perform automatic

calculations on numbers contained in a table.

Cell and table concept

A cell is part of the table , it is the colums with the numbers in it.

The table is cells together to form the table and be able to compare.
