§ The UGC comes from variety of Social Web sources, e.g. TwiUer, Facebook, Google+, Flickr, YouTube, blogs, etc.
§ Vast amount of the UGC could be produced in the event of a breaking news.

UGC & Breaking News § UGC is even more important
when news organisa<ons have to rely mostly on Social Web as they cannot have journalists on site.
Speed is a killer when there is a breaking news!
§ The UGC producers would have to spend a considerable amount of <me searching, aggrega<ng, contextualising and verifying the material received on the Social Web.
