Assisted Living MemberLeadingAge RI members include not-for-profit assisted living residences, senior housing providers, and nursing homes, as well as adult day health centers. Our members are committed to providing the highest quality and most compassionate care to the people they serve. So when Rhode Islanders are in need of long-term care services, they can look to the LeadingAge RI community for help.

At a time when long term care is facing intense challenges, our members are showing that there is a difference when it comes to quality. By providing more supportive services and developing new and innovative ways to meet the needs of those they serve, not-for-profits are setting the standard for expanding the world of possibilities for aging. Our members focus their programs and services on the needs, interests and desires of those they serve, and quality of life is their bottom line. The focus of not-for-profit providers is people—all resources go towards enhanced services and staffing, improving facilities, and responding to new community needs—the net result of which is to ensure high quality care to our older population and their families.

LeadingAge RI assisted living residences provide a safe and supportive environment for older Rhode Islanders that promotes their independence and ability to remain in the community. A wide variety of programs and services are available, including assistance with personal care, medication management, other nursing tasks to the extent permitted by state law, a wide variety of recreational and social opportunities, meals, housekeeping, transportation, and other care coordination assistance provided by nurses and other well-trained and caring professionals. Our not-for-profit residences are also able to communicate and collaborate with the wide range of high quality aging services providers that are part of the larger LeadingAge RI community. As residents age, we need to enhance our commitment to their health and well-being, and being a LeadingAge RI member enables us do so. Indeed, LeadingAge RI members believe that promoting the greatest quality of life and quality care isn’t just a choice, it is a commitment to our older residents, their families, and our community.
