After the Christmas Cocktail reception, make your way over to the main beach where an amazing Christmas inspired barbecue will be served surrounded by candles and of course the stars above.

Our chefs have prepared some delicious fayre.Your first two courses will be served at your table, before you make your way to the island barbecue live cooking stations for fresh seafood and meats accompanied by home grown garden salads and vegetables.

The evening will be accompanied by musical performance from an international duo.

If you wish, Driftwood will be hosting our Christmas Classic – “It’s a Wonderful life” – with James Stewart and Lionel Barrymore in this Frank Capra classic from 1946.

Popcorn and mulled wine will be served along with fresh juices for children. (movie duration: 2 hours, 11 minutes). This experience is included in the Christmas Eve dinner offering.

Our experienced guides will escort you over to the neighbouring Island of Koh Rong to take in the true beauty of natural Cambodia and learn why we work so hard to help preserve this fragile ecosystem.

Parents are welcome to leave their children from five to fourteen years of age in our care for the duration of the movie and collect them at the end.

Cruise into the majestic sunsets of the Gulf of Thailand and watch the sun sink below the sea from our traditional fishing boat. You’ll see the sunset’s fiery hues mellow into dusk as you sail back in time for a starlit dinner.

Chilled bubbly along with fresh juices and canapés will be served on board. Priced per person for shared experiences and can also be booked as a private experience.

Our venue this evening for dinner will be our Vista overwater restaurant’ as well as the options of ‘Destination Dining’ around the property, subject to availability.

Our Asian-inspired a la carte menu will be available in Vista and our Chefs have created a family-style sharing menu in our Destination Dining venues.

Join our Song Saa Foundation Team for an escorted tour around our very own private nature reserve. You will be shown the diverse flora and fauna found on the reserve as well as a possible glimpse of our resident nesting Hornbills and Fruit Bats.

This experience is with the compliments of our sister NGO, The Song Saa Foundation, however subject to reservations and maximum numbers and we would be very grateful for any donation you may wish to make to the charitable arm of the Song Saa Foundation.

For those guests who wish to go over to the island of Prek Svay and see the children receive some gifts from the Song Saa Foundations Christmas “Pack for a Purpose” - present initiative.

You will be invited to make your way over to the beach to enjoy our international musicians as well as the Phare Circus who carry out amazing acrobatics using fire.

This will be followed by our resident band and DJ so you can dance the night away before our team release wishing lanterns into the night sky above the islands (weather and wind dependent).

The DJ will then take us into the New Year….2020!

The first location on our walking tour with a theme of ‘Classic Beach Cocktails and light Mexican tapas’’. You will also see amazing artists showcasing their respectives crafts for a charity auction held later in the evening courtesy the Song Saa Foundation.
