Themomentyoubecomeoneofouradvertisers,thechancesofyourproductorservicereachingmorecustomerswillincrease,whichatthesametimewillhelpyouincreasetheopportunityofearningmorepotentialclients.

WhenIsharedwithmyfriends,LizandAida,mydreamsofstartingacommunitynewspaperinmyhometown,Iwasexpectingthemtolaughatmeanddismissedmewitha"girl,youarecrazy,"buttomysurprise,thatdidn'thappenandwhatIgotinreturntouchedeveryfiberofmybody.
Yousee,atthattime,Ihadnopriorexperiencerunninganewspaper.Ihadbeenwritingforotherpublicationsforthepast10years,butIhadneveractuallyrananewspaperbefore,soIwaspreparedforbothofthemtotellmethatIwasinsane.But,theydidn't.Theybothactuallysaid..."I'min"andthatwastheexactmomentwhenTheNortheastPolkGazettewasborn...threeVeteranwithonedreamincommon.
Withthisnewspaper,myfriendsandIwanttotoucheverysingleaspectofwhatitmeanstobepartofacommunitythatisexperiencingthesamethings,strugglingwiththesameissues,andtryingtomoveforwardnotonlyasindividuals,butalsoasacommunity.
Ourmaingoalwiththispublicationistobringawarenesstotheissuesthattouchallofusasacommunity.Thetruthisthatwearealltogetherinthiscrazythingcalledlife,sowehavetobethereforeachother.And,that'sexactlythemissionofTheNortheastPolkGazette...tounifyourcommunityusingourstoriesasatooltodevelopempathyandarealsenseofcomraderyamongourcommunitymembers.
TherealityisthatmyfriendsandIhadadream,andthatdreambecameareality.Now,wewillworkhardtomakethiscommunitynewspaperagreatsourceofinformationforthoselookingforuniquecommunitystoriesandsoftnews.Ourcommunitydeservestohaveapublicationthatcaresaboutthem—abouttheirstories,andweareplanningongivingthemjustthat.
