Mississippi Queen is a country, rock, soul band from Northeast Mississippi. We cover such

artists as Wynonna Judd, Joan Jett, Katy Perry, Aretha Franklin, Johnny Cash, Bruno

Mars plus 12 original songs from our CD entitled “One”. We are sending this packet

hoping that you had an open date available for us to play in your venue. We have over 4

hours of music prepared at this time and we can keep the atmosphere electric as long as

needed. I feel that we are well suited to play at your venue. Our band has been together

over 4 years. We were 2017 Nominees for Best band in Mississippi, Best Alternative band,

and Mississippi Roots band by the Mississippi Music Foundation.

Minus the Queen is a 3 piece alternative rock band that plays rock and country hits from

the 1990's and 2000's.

Our live events include the Slugburger Festival in Corinth, MS, the Tupelo BBQ Duel in

Tupelo, MS, NOleput in Tupelo, MS, Waterway Festival in Burnsville, MS, All American

City Picnic in Tupelo, MS, as well as the County Line Music Festival in Baldwyn, MS.

We've played venues such as Shucker’s in Ridgeland, MS, Rattlesnake Saloon in

Tuscumbia, AL, Romie's Grocery in Tupelo, MS and private parties as needed. In April

2016, we were featured on Local Licks on Z98.5 radio station out of Tupelo, Mississippi to

showcase our original music. Our music is also being played on Rock 100 out of Corinth,

MS. We played live in studio on Wizard 106.7's morning show with Kelli and Roadkill Bill

in July 2016 and 2017.

We are very active on our Facebook site when it comes to marketing. We’ll promote the

event thru Facebook, as well as our website. We have the ability to create flyers as well.
