RED SHIELD ROUND UP January 2019 Newsletter

The holiday season is often seen as the busiest time of the year for The Salvation Army. From bell ringing, to meal programs, to

preparing for the coming year; staff, volunteers, and church members were always on the go!

The Denver Red Shield finished out 2018 with two months of incredible services for the community including Christmas Angel Tree,

Adopt a Family, and Operation Warm! An emergency at a local senior living community resulted in 120 seniors receiving

Thanksgiving Food Boxes. Over 600 families received Christmas gifts, 180 seniors in local nursing homes received a Christmas

gift, and over 200 children received new winter coats.

The staff at the Denver Red Shield would like to thank all of the generous volunteers for their time and dedication to helping The

Salvation Army Do The Most Good, season after season.
