Hello and welcome to The Pentecostals of Sydney where you can experience new life in Christ!

What an exciting month we have ahead of us; with Turning Point the third weekend of September, we are gearing up for a powerful time in the Church.

On Thursday the 13th of September at 7:30pm our Turning Point Conference begins and this year we are blessed to have two of our movement’s most significant voices; Rev. Raymond Woodward and Rev. Mark Morgan as our guest speakers.

The theme for Turning Point this year is based upon our Church theme; CATALYST….. in that, the focus is not on waiting for something to happen or for something to be dropped on our laps before we become involved in God’s work. Each one of us posses the ability to initiate

change in our own lives, families, church, community and world. This is what a catalyst is, it’s a change agent. I believe God has called this Church to be a change agent in our community, city and indeed our world. However, it’s all dependant on you and I as individuals. Therefore we are to be catalysts for revival and evangelism in our world.

Turning Point is the perfect opportunity to come together as a Church, to be revived, equipped and transformed.

Perhaps you’ve been in the Kingdom of God for some time but have not been involved. You can vacate the sidelines and get in the arena. Christianity is not a spectator sport where we watch the few committed engage in the things of God, and clap our hands to congratulate the zealous. Every child of God is called to live for Him and serve Him….And to be His witness.

For many Churches the Pareto principle (20/80 rule), where 20% of the people do 80% of the work, is still a reality. Can you imagine if say 80% of the people did 100% of the work in our Church? How much difference would that make on our world?

2 Chron 7:14 - If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Don’t miss one service at this year’s Turning Point, it may just be the catalyst to change your world.

The evening service will be lead by the Men’s Ministry of the POS who will be back from Men’s Camp. It will be a great evening that you will not want to miss!

When there are five Sundays in one month we combine Morning and Evening Worship. Family Sunday is designed to give you a rest as well as time with your family.

Family Sunday is also a great chance for the whole POS to come together. We believe that the church is a family, we are all sons and daughters of God, so this will be a wonderful time for the POS "Family" to spend together in worship of our Lord and Saviour!

Sunday SchoolSunday school operates every Sunday

morning after worship beginning at 10:30am. We have a multitude of classes, which cater to children between the ages of 4 to 18. Classes are located upstairs so

make sure your children are getting the most out of the their visit to the POS.

Life StudiesLife Studies are an enjoyable, non-threatening way to learn more about the Bible. We can meet with you in your home, our home, or a coffee shop. The studies are less than an hour but have the power to change your life. Contact one of our hosts if you would like to start a Life Study.

New Life JourneyWe invite you to join NLJ; a teaching program conducted every Sunday morning at 10:30am, right after morning worship. These classes will cover questions you may have about doctrine, why we worship the way we do, what God really has in store for your life and how God’s love for you can conquer all. These classes are very beneficial to your Christian walk, so take your first steps with Jesus today!

Infants Ministry - The ArkWe take children from 2-3years old in the mornings and 2-4year olds in the evening.

The Infants Room is open from the end of Praise and Worship Service.

In 'The Ark' we have a structured program from beginning to end.

Our program consists of 4 components...Praise, Bible Story, Snack Time & Craft.

The  children learn about God in a safe and fun environment.

ReWired YouthWe understand that High School, Uni and Tafe are times of much change- Physical, Mental and even Spiritual. Whether you're the big man at school or the quiet one in the back of the class you have a place at Rewired Youth.

Come along to a dynamic service on Friday nights at 7:30pm- with skits, games and a message aimed right at you, we guarantee you'll have a great time.

Fijian MinistryWe are blessed at the POS to have a large population of Fijians attend our assembly. In order to reach out to the Fijian community we have a Fijian Ministry. Once a month there is a Fijian Speaking Service at 3pm on a Sunday. This service includes preaching, worship and fellowship following. They also gather monthly for prayer and evangelism.

New Here?If you are new to the POS please join us for our morning tea immediately following the service. It gives you a great opportunity to meet those you have just worshipped with. Also, we would like to give you a gift in appreciation for your visit. Please visit the Hostess Desk to pick up your gift.
