Hello and welcome to The Pentecostals of Sydney where you can experience new life in Christ!

As we count down to the completion of our ReBuild project, the stress and urgency of the construction has heightened to a tipping point. While the major structural work has been completed, there is now a myriad of minor, yet complex, features that need to be coordinated. Just as strenuous is the cost associated with this project that has led us to borrow money in order to complete it.

Some may ask, and indeed I have asked, “Is this all worth it?” “Is this the right thing to do?” As the leadership of this church has prayed and sought God’s will, we have been unanimous in our decision which is in alignment with our God-given vision and desire for God’s Kingdom.

This project is not designed for us to just have a nice building, which is a wonderful benefit, but ultimately, it is for the purpose of souls. That being said, it was warranted in order for us to have a safe and secure environment.

The Church building is a place where we gather as an Apostolic church, in worship, fellowship and the

dissemination of God’s Truth. It is a healing station where the Balm of Gilead flows but it is also a headquarters by which we receive our marching orders and launch missionaries and ministries. We have a vision to expand and reach our community, city, nation and region so it is imperative that our base is strong and appealing.

However, the most important feature of this building is that it is a place where the Spirit of God descends upon His people, where His Shekinah glory is manifested. Continue to pray for this endeavor and support the establishment of this central building.

This is our desire….. And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the Lord, So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of the Lord. 1 Kings 8:10-11 ! ! ! ! ! !

Father’s DaySunday, 7 September 201410:00am service

We are blessed at the POS to have so many wonderful fathers! The Bible tells us to give honour to whom honour is due, so on Father’s Day we want to celebrate and appreciate all of the fathers who attend or are connected to the church.

It will be a great day so invite your Dad to come along and be a part of it!

21 Days of Dedication15 September - 5 October 2014

For 3 weeks the church will be engaged in a time of prayer and fasting for our upcoming events as well as the Church Dedication.

If you would like to join us (and we encourage you too!) or want to find out more information about it please pick up a 21 Days of Dedication Guide at the Welcome Desk, they will be available from Sun, 7 September. We will also be having Morning Prayer on Fridays during the 21 days at the Warehouse beginning at 6am.

Sunday SchoolSunday school operates every Sunday morning at 10:00am in the

Girl Guides Hall in Earlwood. We have classes that accommodate children from 4 to 12 years old. Classes

are always fun and exciting so make sure your children are getting the most out of the their visit to the POS.

Life StudiesLife Studies are an enjoyable, non-threatening way to learn more about the Bible. We can meet with you in your home, our home, or a coffee shop. The studies are less than an hour but have the power to change your life. Contact one of our hosts if you would like to start a Life Study.
