The entire North Olmsted community is invited to attend Mayor Kevin Kennedy’s annual State of the City luncheon at Springvale Ballroom.
Doors open at 11:30am for business networking; lunch service begins at noon. Your $20 ticket includes a plated lunch and raffle prizes!

Mailbox Durability: A common misconception about mailbox damage is that the plow on the truck comes into direct contact with the mailbox. Actually, most mailboxes are damaged by the heavy, fast moving snow as it is pushed to the side of the road by the plow. The Service Department suggests that residents check to make sure that their mailbox is not deteriorating or in poor condition.
Fish Fries at Springvale
The Springvale Fish Fries will start on February 12th.
They will be held every Friday during lent from 4pm-8pm. Senior Early Bird Special is from 4pm - 5pm.
Local non-profit organizations will serve as waiters and waitresses and the tips will go to the group working
that evening. Here are the dates and list of volunteers:

New Starbucks Coming to Dover Center and Lorain Roads
Good news for the coffee-lovers of North Olmsted: a new Starbucks is on the way in 2016! Poised to fill the long-vacant northeast corner of Dover Center and Lorain Roads, the popular coffee shop will be a welcome addition to the center of town. The building boasts a modern brick design with a patio and green space areas that will enhance the curb appeal this busy intersection.
According to Planner James Aspery, “Starbucks is a valuable addition to the
Dover-Lorain intersection, given that this area sees a high volume of traffic
throughout the day from residents, commuters and shoppers alike.” Commuters
will be especially interested to note that the Starbucks will feature a drive-
through for those on the go.
Site plans for the coffee shop have cleared the required review process from the
Planning and Design Commission and City Council. Stay tuned for construction
updates this Spring!
