• Vibrant Gujarat is a biennial Summit held by the Government of Gujarat in Gujarat, India. It is started in 2003.

• The event is aimed at bringing together business leaders, investors, corporations, thought leaders, policy and opinion makers.

• Exhibitions are also held in these sectors to provide a platform for showcasing products and services.

• 2003

The 2003 Global Investors' Summit was held coinciding with the glorious Navratri Festival where a total of 76 MOUs worth USD 14 billion were signed.

• 2005

The 2005 Summit saw signing of 226 MOUs garnering an investment of USD 20 billion.

• 2007

The Summit was held from January 10, 2007 to January 13, 2007, at Science City, Ahmedabad. The summit was attended by industry majors like Tata, Birla, Reliance, Shell, General Motors, ICICI to name a few resulted in signing of 675 MOUs worth USD 152 billion.

• 2009

The Government of Gujarat organized the 4th biennial Global Investors' Summit 2009 during 12-13 January, 2009. Based on the theme – Gujarat Going Global

5th Summit, 2011

• Renamed as 'Vibrant Gujarat 2011: The Global Business Hub, as a result of which the event saw participation from many Countries. • 101 Courtiers• 1400 foreign delegates.•About, 7936 Mous were signed for USD 450 billion. •Over 350 Spakers had participated in more than 30 seminars.• More than 13 Country and State seminars were organized during the 2 day long summit. • This year a state of the art permanent structure “Mahatma Mandir”, was constructed for organizing the Summit.
