YOU COULD BE ELIGIBLE FOR DES SUPPORT IF YOU HAVE AN INJURY, ILLNESS, DISABILITY OR HEALTH CONDITION, AND ARE LOOKING FOR WORKOur FREE Disability Employment Service is tailored to your individual needs and specifically designed to support you in finding (and keeping) a job that works for you and your health condition.

SOME CRITERIA APPLY...There are some eligibility criteria for DES, but it’s easiest to chat with us about whether you’re eligible or not.

Some of the things we look for include:

• If you have an injury, illness, disability or health condition (if you don’t, or you’re not sure, talk to us and we can help you figure this out)

• Are above minimum legal working age in your state

• Not in full time study (unless you’re still in high school, in which case- talk to us)

• Not currently working, or not working enough hours

WORK ASSISTThrough our Work Assist program, we can help with a wide range of supports aimed at keeping your team members engaged and productive in the workplace.

Work Assist is free to access, thanks to funding from the Australian Government, as part of our Disability Employment Services (DES) program.

SUPPORTING YOUR BUSINESSVia Work Assist we can support your business with workplace assesments and modifications, as well as specialised equipment or tools to support your team member in conducting the requirements of their job.

We can also help with job redesign or redeployment options that work for you and your team member.

SUPPORTING YOUR PEOPLEIn addition to supporting your business, we can also support your team members with access to allied health practitioners to support their health condition, provision of specialised equipment to support them on the job, and training and advice on effectively managing their condition in the workplace.

ELIGIBILITYWe can provide up to 12 months specialised employment support for you and your team, however certain eligibility criteria do apply. Your team member should:

• be employed for at least 8 hours per week

• have an illness, injury or health condition that is impacting their ability to carry out the requirements of their role

• not currently be registered with a DES provider.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONSHow many printed items can I order?That depends on your site, services offered and the number of staff who will be using them. Some items (like our business cards and presentation folders) have a minimum order of 250. Not sure how many items you’ll need? Talk to the Marketing Team and we’ll help you figure it out.

How much does it cost to order branded items?Items like flyers, brochures and branded posters will be paid for by Marketing, so don’t panic about that. Business cards, merchandise and custom requests will be costed to sites or specific program budgets.

Can I print flyers and posters myself?You can’t print flyers and posters yourself. To keep our brand looking good, all items will be professionally printed and delivered to you. Need to start using copies fast? We can give you digital copies you can use straight away via email - or grab them from the intranet.

Can I create my own flyers and posters?You can’t create your own collateral. The Marketing Team is on hand to help you create the perfect item to sell your program, service or event.

I need something custom for an event/program/service. Can you help? Yes! We’re here to help. If you don’t see what you need in our existing suite, we’re here to collaborate with you. To make sure we have enough time to get your item just right, please allow up to 4 weeks.

I want to get some merchandise for an upcoming event/program, is this possible?Yep! It’s totally possible. If you would like to look at branded merchandise options, give us a call to discuss your brief and budget. Please allow 4-6 weeks for merchandise orders to be completed (there can be long design and shipping wait times involved).
