Guide Book & Directory Advertising Opportunity

We are in the process of updating our annual Guide Book & Directo-ry for the Church. This book will be the Who, What, Where, When, Why and How of our Congregation. The book is being provided at no cost to our Church, including the mailing to each family, and again is being subsidized by local businesses that advertise in it. If you own or manage a business and would like to find out about advertising in our book, please call the Church Office. Recent survey results by Guide Book Publishing show that 92.1% of families would rather patronize a Guide Book & Directory advertiser over a non-advertiser. It “will pay” to advertise in our new Guide Book & Directory.

Update Membership Information Does our Church database have YOUR family membership record correct? Here is your chance to update YOUR record for our annual Guide Book & Directory (if you haven’t already done so). It is time for us to update our database with any changes, additions, or deletions that may have occurred in YOUR family over the past year. Have you changed your phone number? Have you moved? Are you preparing to move soon? Are all of your children still at home and are they all included in your membership record? Do you want your record published? If you have not already informed the Church Office about changes to your record, please let us know now so that the information in the Guide Book & Directory is correct. The Parish Office number is 281-353-5053.

Please pray for one of our Parishioners, ZENY NAGUIT, who has just been admitted to the Heart and Kid-ney Transplant List. Zeny’s survival rests on getting the-se much needed transplants. You can help Zeny and all the other patients like her who are waiting for transplants by following this link: http://patients.transplants.org/zenynaguit.

A Stewardship Prayer

Almighty and ever-faithful Lord, gratefully acknowledging Your mercy and humbly admitting our need, we pledge our

trust in You and each other. Filled with desire, we respond to Your call for discipleship by shaping our lives in imitation of Christ. We profess that the call requires us to be stewards of Your gifts. As stewards, we receive Your gifts gratefully,

cherish and tend them in a responsible manner, share them in practice and love with others, and return them with increase to the Lord. We pledge to our ongoing formation as stewards and our responsibility to call others to that same endeavor. Almighty and ever-faithful God, it is our fervent hope and prayer that You who have begun this good work in us will

bring it to fulfillment in Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Pope Francis proclaimed 2015 as a Year of Consecrated Life, opening on November 30, 2014, and closing on February 7, 2016, the day of our Archdiocesan Celebration of Consecrated Life. To read more about it, go to: www.archgh.org,

~SAINT OF THE WEEK~ Joy is a great remedy. I recommend it to you and I do so very

enthusiastically...! Be joyful! I say it again 'be joyful'! When we are joyful, we are less aware of evil and are cured more quickly. Cast all your cares on God; He is the best

of fathers and will look after you as well as possible.
